"We had an excellent experience with Paula as our cat sitter! From the very beginning, she was professional, friendly, and clearly experienced with animals. She took the time to understand our cat’s routine, personality, and specific needs, which gave us peace of mind while we were away.
Paula went above and beyond — not only did she keep our cat happy and well-fed, but she also kept us updated with photos and messages, which we really appreciated. It was clear that she genuinely cared and took her responsibilities seriously.
We came home to a relaxed, well-looked-after cat and a spotless home. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Thank you, Paula, for doing such a great job — we’ll definitely be booking you again!"

"Ilan has provided a high level of care and attention for my dear cat Taco. Ilan has provided care for multiple consecutive days and has been professional and courteous through every stage of the process.
I feel very comfortable and confident in letting Ilan attend my home and she is very mindful of the specific needs of my pet cat. Ilan tailors her visit to meet Taco’s requirements and is highly communicative with me whilst I am away, informing me about my cat’s general mood and wellbeing.
Ilan has also been flexible with changes to the bookings and the services she provides for my pet whilst I am away and can adapt her visit from day to day. I am very impressed with the level of service provided by Ilan and I will retain her for future instances when I will need a cat sitter."

"Theerta was reliable, easy to deal with and very gentle/kind to our cat. It made our trip so much easier knowing he was cared for in our absence. I would 100% recommend her. Thank you again Theerta, wish you all the best. 😁😁"

"I cannot recommend the cat sitting services of Beck highly enough! Beck not only met my expectations, she far exceeded them. Beck took the time to meet & greet with my 2 gorgeous ex-colony cats Kelly & Chloe, a bonded pair. I had never, ever left them in anyone else's care before, so this was a scary thing for me to embark on in the first place. Yet, after meeting with Beck on a few occasions and seeing how both Kelly & Chloe warmed to her so quickly, it became immediately apparent that Beck was the right cat sitter for my previous fur babies. Every morning and evening Beck would send me a comprehensive report on my two precious 💞 cats, and send me delightful photos and even videos that demonstrated how well Beck was caring for my felines. Beck went well above and beyond, she vacuumed up the fur on.my tiled floors, which is something that was lovely as I returned from my 5 day vacation to a shining and pristine home. I'm going on my second short vacation early 2024, and asked Beck already if she would be able to look after Kelly & Chloe, and she immediately accepted! Therefore, please consider Beck for your pet sitting needs. You could not find a better one!!"

Frequently asked questions about dog sitting
Your dog sitting questions answered
Where do you source your dog sitters?
We have hundreds of applicants to our website every month, but we only accept sitters who are experienced, communicative and enthusiastic about caring for pets. You will find that our community is made up of real locals, just like yourself: often veterinary nurses, dog trainers and retirees.
Where in Brisbane can I find dog sitting?
You can find a Pawshake dog sitter anywhere in Brisbane, often just within streets of where you live. Our sitting community is in all major towns and cities in Australia, and we are growing rapidly every day.
How do I find a dog sitter through your site?
To find your perfect sitter, visit the Pawshake website or app. You will see a search bar, where you simply enter your location: from here you can view all dog minders near you. Be sure to use our search filters and select your dates first for a better match.
How much will I pay for dog sitting?
The prices on Pawshake are very competitive: you will rarely pay more than you would for traditional dog minding. The sitters on our website can choose their own prices. As such, you may pay a bit more if your sitter has a lot of experience, has a very full calendar or if they have to travel far.
