"This was our dog's first time away from home. Eileen sent brief messages to let us know how he was going. She was friendly and made the process very easy. Our dog, who can be a bit nervous, was calm and happy when we arrived to collect him. Couldn't be happier "

"Victoria is the best dog carer we have ever met! My boys leap out of the car to go to her house and hang out with the other doggos. Victoria truly treats all of the dogs in her care as part of her family and her daughter also loved our big boy. Victoria sends photo updates of what the dogs are doing and they always sleep well on the road trip home after having lots of play time with other dogs. I couldn’t recommend Victoria higher! Great location which is very convenient for many places if you are visiting Brisbane. We will be back! Thanks again Victoria! We all love you 🐾🐕🐶"

"Don is considerate and took great care of our dogs during their 3 weeks stay at his home. Don made sure to feed the dogs per our preferences, and they went for walks most days. Don kept us updated, and sent us daily photos.
Don's dogs are friendly and they get along with our dogs well. There's plenty of open space in the backyard for the dogs to run around and play.
Thank you 🙏 for looking after our pups. We'll definitely be back for our next visit."

"I will highly recommend you choose this home for your dog. Here are four reasons:
* Safety. She and her husband love dogs and enjoy dogs' stay,
Pierette will turn on AC and let the dogs inside when the temperature is high during the day. you do not need to worry about sunstroke happening to dogs.
Pierette will also be able to help you contact Vet if anything happened, this is essential when you are not around. she is a very experienced dog owner.
Your dog can have a regular diet and homemade dog treats in her place.
*Attention and Trust. I appreciate that she pays a lot of attention and time to dogs and allowed the dogs to explore her home. She did not leave the dogs alone at home, so you do not need to worry about the dogs getting anxious or lonely at all. if your dog has separation anxiety symptoms, here is the best home you can get in Brisbane.
*Social opportunity and having fun. Your dog can play safely with other dogs under their supervision. Our dog is a very high-energy dog, Pierette uses games and walks to drain the dog's energy. and she lets dogs play tug of war together. The dog just gets too tired after the play and chasing each other, and our dog falls asleep once he jumps into our car when we pick up him. I believe he had a lot of fun during these four days.
*Strong communication. You will have your dog's status updated through the website. She has great communication skills and you do not need to worry about the "what 's going on". So, you will know your baby might be busy on exploring the garden or chilling under the fan.
To sum up, choosing this home won't fail you. "

"As always, incredibly happy with Sarah's wonderful service. Sarah provides a calm, loving home for my anxious doggy and goes above and beyond to make the experience a positive for our pet each time (not to mention the additional spoiling lol). Sarah has an incredible wealth of knowledge and is always able to put my mind at ease, and we get to enjoy our holidays without a worry. I highly recommend Sarah to anyone looking for a trusted dog sitter. "

"Rosie is an attentive, caring and contentious dog sitter. I leave my baby in her wonderful care with great peace of mind. With constant updates, generally humorous, and photos sent often, I can leave knowing the transparency with which Rosie operates is sincere and my boy is safe and happy. My hound is lively, highly active and curious, and many dog sitters find him to be too much energy. Rosie is understanding and accommodating - despite her disrupted sleep, for which I am forever grateful.
It is a privilege to have met Rosie and Pixie."

/nightFrequently asked questions about home dog boarding
Your home dog boarding questions answered
Is dog boarding safe?
Dog boarding is very safe when booked through Pawshake. All our sitters are verified manually by the Pawshake team, and each booking automatically includes coverage by the Pawshake Guarantee in case your pet needs a vet visit or you need to find a replacement sitter.
Is dog boarding available in Brisbane?
Pawshake can be found Australia-wide, including throughout sunny Brisbane. Dog boarding on Pawshake is different to a traditional dog kennel or dog hotel, in that your dog will stay in the home of the sitter. Wherever there is an Australian community, you will find a Pawshake sitter.
Is dog boarding right for my dog?
Some dogs are not suited to traditional dog kennels because of their temperament or need for focused one-on-one care. Fortunately, Pawshake allows you to choose exactly who will be caring for your dog and the environment you want them to stay in.
Where in Brisbane can I find Pawshake?
Pawshake doesn't have one central location, but instead is found all throughout Brisbane. Our sitters are often local vet nurses, retirees and animal care students who are passionate about pets and have some spare time and space to offer.
