"Natalie is a wonderful pet sitter who takes excellent care of our puppy ! Right off the bat when we first met her we got an excellent first impression. She is very warm and friendly and was great with our pup! When we came home after our weekend away our pet was relaxed and happy.
During our time away Natalie sent us photos of our baby having fun which was really nice 🙂

"Nancy is an extremely conscientious and caring dog sitter. Her communication is clear and timely and her love of dogs is extremely evident. Our dog appeared to be extremely calm and happy on collection and it was obvious that she had been well cared for. Our dog has a heart condition and requires medication 4 times a day. Nancy had no hesitation in taking on this extra responsibility which was much appreciated. Nancy only looks after one dog at a time which suits our dog who needs a lot of attention. I would highly recommend Nancy as a dog sitter."

"Anitha was just amazing with our dog. Right from the get-go, she was prompt with communications, asked the right questions about his every day care and was very open in her first visit. We left our dog with Anitha for almost 3 weeks and she updated us daily on whatsapp whilst we were overseas with wonderful photos and updates on his eating and exercise. It made us feel confident and secure that he was getting the best care. We searched for a while to find the right sitter and we are so glad we found Anitha who was the right price point and gave us such value and security. "Emily was a FANTASTIC dog sitter. She looked after our girl Luna with such great care, taking her on walks and making sure she felt at home. Emily kept in contact with us everyday, sending us photos and updates of how Luna was doing. Her dog Tums was also a great host, taking Luna under his wing and sharing his place with her. "We were a week out from leaving on an interstate family holiday when our dog sitter (my parents) announced they were off to NZ the same time we would be away….they’d completely forgotten Mochi, our large exuberant Harrier Hound, was going to stay with them while we were away.
Enter Pawshake. Dale was the first and only person we contacted - obviously time was a factor in our case, and her responsiveness, prices, easy going nature, and the fact she knew what she was talking about (plus she said nice things about our doggie!), meant we didn’t need to contact anyone else. (We looked at a few profiles on Pawshake and the number of people, young people, saying they could handle large excitable dogs in their one bedroom “insert trendy inner suburb here” apartment was laughable).
Mochi isn’t yet 2 years old and he’s huge (40 kg and my height -165cm when he stands up on two legs), he is a hound, bred to think a certain way (which is often “I’m doing what I want regardless) and on top of all of this, Mochi just wants to be loved and be around you. He needs someone who is going to give him all the love in the world while not being a pushover.
Dale knew how to respond and interact with Mochi from the start. He came back to us happy, healthy and very tired (we struggle to tire him out so this was brilliant).
Dale has the space, set up, location and knowledge for you to be able to leave your pet with her and not be worried about whether or not you made the right dog sitter decision. She updated us daily with photos of Mochi- it was so heartwarming to see Mochi wasn’t just another dog at their house; he was very much a part of their family and in the mix of it all for the 6 days he was with them.
We will not hesitate to book Dale again. Thank you so much for taking care of our boy! "

"Fika and her family took amazing care of our puppy Max. He seemed so happy with them! They were extremely attentive, caring, and communicated clearly at all times. Fika's house is perfectly set up for dogs, securely fenced with plenty of space. Max's high energy levels were taken care of with lots of walks, play, and affection. "Being a Pawshake sitter myself, I thought it would be hard to find someone to look after my little dog as well as me. But I can honestly say that from the moment I met Kaye, I felt reassured that my baby would be in loving and safe hands.
We did a trial day before the 2 week stay which introduced my dog to Kaye & her dog (and vice versa), which went well and Kaye's dog was incredibly welcoming and patient with her furry newcomer,
Kaye was easy to talk with and obviously had a lot of experience with having different dogs in her clean and organised home. I knew then that I didn't need to look at any other sitters.
During the main booking, I got daily updates with photos & videos where my little girl looked so content & happy that I was worried she wouldn't want to go home! I'm sure she absolutely loved her time with Kaye and got very attached to Poppy as they often slept side by side. My dog was well and happy when we returned (and thankfully did want to go home with us).
I wouldn't hesitate to use Kaye again or recommend her. She's a lovely girl with a heart in the right place and totally trustworthy to look after your dog as you request."
