"Risa was fantastic from the start of the process. She was happy to meet our 2 year old spoodle Jasper and I ahead of time to introduce herself and show us her house.
She communicated very well and responded within minutes for any queries we had, and to confirm any details ahead of our booking.
We were nervous dropping Jasper off as this was our first experience on Pawshake, but Risa made us feel comfortable that Jasper would be in capable, caring hands.
We received updates and photos throughout our booking, and were excited to see the activities that our pup was up to while we were away.
10/10 experience and would recommend Risa to anyone who is looking for a home-stay dog sitter."

"We were a week out from leaving on an interstate family holiday when our dog sitter (my parents) announced they were off to NZ the same time we would be away….they’d completely forgotten Mochi, our large exuberant Harrier Hound, was going to stay with them while we were away.
Enter Pawshake. Dale was the first and only person we contacted - obviously time was a factor in our case, and her responsiveness, prices, easy going nature, and the fact she knew what she was talking about (plus she said nice things about our doggie!), meant we didn’t need to contact anyone else. (We looked at a few profiles on Pawshake and the number of people, young people, saying they could handle large excitable dogs in their one bedroom “insert trendy inner suburb here” apartment was laughable).
Mochi isn’t yet 2 years old and he’s huge (40 kg and my height -165cm when he stands up on two legs), he is a hound, bred to think a certain way (which is often “I’m doing what I want regardless) and on top of all of this, Mochi just wants to be loved and be around you. He needs someone who is going to give him all the love in the world while not being a pushover.
Dale knew how to respond and interact with Mochi from the start. He came back to us happy, healthy and very tired (we struggle to tire him out so this was brilliant).
Dale has the space, set up, location and knowledge for you to be able to leave your pet with her and not be worried about whether or not you made the right dog sitter decision. She updated us daily with photos of Mochi- it was so heartwarming to see Mochi wasn’t just another dog at their house; he was very much a part of their family and in the mix of it all for the 6 days he was with them.
We will not hesitate to book Dale again. Thank you so much for taking care of our boy! "

"Awesome dog sitter. He and his partner know well about the dogs and treat them well. They are willing to keep dog owner’s training regime while dogs are staying at their place. Their dog is also cute and adorable! The first day got back home, my dog was a bit lethargic not being with his friend. "

"Juanita and Will were great and went the extra mile when looking after Lulu. We also loved their 2 beautiful retrievers they are gentle, friendly dogs.

"Fika and her family took amazing care of our puppy Max. He seemed so happy with them! They were extremely attentive, caring, and communicated clearly at all times. Fika's house is perfectly set up for dogs, securely fenced with plenty of space. Max's high energy levels were taken care of with lots of walks, play, and affection. Fika even taught him to fetch during his stay! Was very grateful for all of the photos and updates too. We will absolutely come to Fika again and would highly recommend her to other dog owners."

"Olga and Ro looked after my two mini dachshunds both with separation anxiety. This was the first time leaving my dogs with anyone and using a pet sitter. Olga had both dogs sitting and cuddling with her within a day or so of the stay. I highly recommend Olga and Ro to sit your dogs. "

"Thanks Cecilia for taking great care of our puppy Cody - it is our first time to leave our puppy for a short trip and Cecilia always responded fast and provided updates of Cody. Cecilia is very easy to communicate with and she follows the care notes that we give her and make sure our Cody has the good care. She also organized meet and greet for Cody to meet herself and other dogs who will stay together during those dates. It was great for owners too as we know in advance who will stay with Cody and it makes Cody to settle easier. We definitely recommend Cecilia. "

"Laura is an Amazing pet sitter. From the time of booking till the end the communication with Laura was seamless. She was able to respond to all my messages asap and also provide updates about my dog (Rana) everyday. She also sent me multiple picture of Rana everyday which gave me a assurance of all good there. "Emily was a FANTASTIC dog sitter. She looked after our girl Luna with such great care, taking her on walks and making sure she felt at home. Emily kept in contact with us everyday, sending us photos and updates of how Luna was doing. Her dog Tums was also a great host, taking Luna under his wing and sharing his place with her. "I couldn’t have been happier with Graham’s dog boarding service. From the moment I contacted him, I knew that Graham was a professional who cares deeply about the well-being of his furry clients.
One thing that really stood out to me was Graham’s excellent communication. Before the boarding, he took the time to ask about my dog’s routine, likes and dislikes, which really put my mind at ease. During my holiday, Graham sent me daily updates and photos, which I greatly appreciated. It was clear that my dog was having a blast and being well-cared for.
When I picked up my dog, he was happy and had even learned a few new tricks! It’s obvious that Graham is a real “dog person” who goes above and beyond to ensure his guests have a great time. "We recently had the pleasure of leaving our beloved Labrador Retriever, Russo, in the care of Ed and Ping for three weeks while we were on holiday, and we couldn't have asked for better carers. From the moment we met them, it was clear that Russo was in loving and capable hands. Ed and Ping treated Russo as if he were their own, providing top-notch care and attention to every detail of his routine.
Russo has a particular schedule, and they went out of their way to accommodate his needs, ensuring that he was comfortable and happy at all times. We were especially touched by the daily photos they sent us, which gave us peace of mind and allowed us to enjoy our holiday without any worries. Seeing Russo so well cared for truly made us feel at ease.
The love and affection Ed and Ping showed Russo was beyond what we could have hoped for. They took him on regular walks, played with him, and made him feel completely at home in their care. It's rare to find such genuinely good-hearted and caring individuals, and we feel blessed to have found them.

"Summer and Kierryn are really great with our frenchie, Fredzel. We are really concerned as Fredzel can be very anxious in new environment but Summer gave Fredzel a lot of attention and took him out for a lot of activities. We can see Fredzel had a very pleasant staycation. Regular updates are provided and Summer has been on point with all Fredzel’s treatment.
