"Loes is definitely the best cat carer in Canberra! Using her knowledge and skills she met my shy and anxious cat, Belle, with a soft, gentle, reassuring and empathetic approach to build rapport, and within a short time had her feeling safe, comfortable and relaxed in her care. She provided Belle with all the care and attention she needed, including stimulation and enrichment to help counter the boredom and loneliness whilst I was away. She changed up her toys, set up different activities and environments using available resources, played with her, and even put on classical music for Belle during her visits to soothe her and provide additional stimulation.
The updates and pictures I received of Belle and her latest activities were welcome snapshots, that allowed me to stay connected, and showed the wonderful care she was receiving. It felt as though Loes cared as much about Belle as I do and I would definitely recommend her services. It is such a relief for me to know that she is available to look after Belle as I know she will make every effort to make her happy when I am away. "

"It was our first experience with a pet sitter and we are so glad to have found Jenny. Our cat Bruce doesn’t like to be alone, he is also scared of strangers. We were looking for someone who could win his trust and Jenny did her job 100%. Jenny covered all Bruce’s needs and also was really nice to communicate with, Jenny has really positive and calm vibes, and we needed it as we were quite nervous to leave Bruce. "After many years with the same Pawshake pet sitter who has now moved away, we contacted Jose for the first time to look after our two cats. Jose was happy to come over beforehand for a meet and greet and was unfazed by the somewhat complex feeding & litter arrangements - our cats need to be kept in separate parts of the house when we’re away as one is on a special diet. Jose was also more than happy to accommodate a last minute request to water some plants in the front garden. All around, a friendly and communicative Pawshake member who we will be happy to use again!"
