"We recently had the pleasure of having Shirley look after our cats, and I can’t recommend her enough! She was incredibly reliable and considerate throughout the entire experience. Her communication was excellent and she kept us updated regularly and sent the sweetest photos of our fur babies, which we absolutely loved.
We had always used catteries before, but our cats would come back stressed and unsettled. This was our first time using a cat sitter, and Shirley was truly amazing. Not only did she take wonderful care of our cats, but she also helped relieve a lot of my own anxiety about leaving them behind.
I would love to gatekeep just how fantastic Shirley is because we will definitely be using her every time we go on holiday from now on. If you’re looking for someone who genuinely cares and goes above and beyond, Shirley is the one!"

This is the first time we have had anyone outside of family care for our animals and home while we were away and were a little nervous at the thought of trusting someone new. We quickly realised we didn't have to worry. Tara has fantastic communication, showed real care and attention to our boys and made sure we were updated with photos and videos. "In the past we’ve had all sorts of potentially disastrous issues/dramas with friends/family looking after our two beloved indoor cats while we were away. We then tried boarding catteries, with some disappointing results. We finally found a cattery we liked, although expensive, but we noticed our oldest elderly cat very stressed when we picked them up and taking days to recover. So for our most recent holiday I was very worried about the right solution that would keep the cats (aged 19 and 12) stress free in their own home. My husband did not want a house sitter, so I found Pawshake. We interviewed a few potentials in the local Mornington area and easily settled on Micheala, she was very relaxed around our cats and they responded well to her. She had no problem with our “keyless entry” door, a bit of technology that seems to daunt some more mature people.
During our 5 weeks away, she sent us photos (enjoying cuddles) and updates via WhatsApp so we knew we had made the right decision choosing Michaela. The worrying I felt about our fur babies melted away and we could enjoy our holiday fully. She was the perfect cat sitter, caring and communicative and she gave us “peace of mind”, and we would highly recommend her. "

"Amy & Leigh were fabulous pet sitters. Our doggy Noah thoroughly enjoyed their company and all the fun walks. We felt comfortable and relaxed knowing that Amy and Leigh were taking care of Noah. We also loved that they kept in regular contact and sent us heaps of pictures of Noah. They were also sooo flexible with our changing of plans because of the border closures etc over Christmas. Amy was also extremely organised and thorough in finding out how we care for Noah so that nothing was missed while we were away.
