"We were in need of an experienced and attentive pet sitter to care for our two senior cats while we were away for a month. Alyssa proved to be the perfect fit for this role.
One of our cats is 19 years old with arthritis, kidney issues, and hearing loss, requiring specialised care including medications and gentle handling. Our 13 year old is in good health but craves daily affection in the form of brushes and play time.
Alyssa visited our home twice per day to tend to all of their needs. She administered medications properly and on schedule for our older cat. Both kitties received plenty of cuddles and playtime. Alyssa sent photo and video updates after each visit so we could check in on them. Her communication was exceptionally prompt if we had any questions.
Upon returning home, we were thrilled to be welcomed by two happy, healthy cats whose routines were undisrupted. Alyssa kept their area clean and even did some tidying up around the house. It brought us peace of mind while traveling to know our beloved furry family members were in such caring, capable hands. We would not hesitate to call on Alyssa for pet sitting in the future and highly recommend her to anyone in need of this service."

"I’m new to Pawshake and booking a petsitter in general and Amber had made my first experience such a relief. From the beginning Amber was prompt with responses, provided me with some previous reviews to put my mind at ease. Amber communicated with me every day whilst I was away as requested and provided me with daily updates. Whilst my cat was very shy and hid a lot, Amber still provided me with updates on his eating and drinking habits and it was so nice to know that my cat Alvin was in someone that’s trustworthy hands. "Isabelle was amazing! From the moment I messaged her she was so kind and accommodating. From the moment she stepped into our home for the first meeting with the dogs I knew she was going to take great care of them, you could see her love for animals and my dogs were instantly excited and happy for her to be there! They could sense her beautiful nature. She communicated with us everyday and sent photos and fit us into her busy schedule due to it being an emergency and needing a sitter urgently at last minute notice.

"We recently had Gisell come to check in on our cats whilst our family was away on holiday. Gisell went over and above checking in on our cats to ensure that they had enough food whilst we were away and she kept in contact to keep me in the loop and also provide photos. My fur babies were happy to see her whenever she came to visit and we wouldn't hesitate to rebook Gisell next time we go away and need someone to care for our cats. "Reine did a fabulous job looking after our cat, Sweetie, and our Quaker parrot. She spent a good amount of time with them both morning and night, and it really showed in how comfortable and settled our parrot was.
Sweetie the cat didn’t make much of an appearance (cats will be cats!), but our parrot absolutely loved Reine’s company. Reine followed all instructions perfectly and was incredibly patient and gentle, even when our parrot got a bit bitey. Her calm approach and genuine care for animals really stood out.
Although Reine wasn’t booked to look after our French bulldog, she came by once we got home. We normally keep him away from new people as he can be quite reactive, but Reine, who clearly has experience with dog training, confidently and calmly assessed the situation and suggested letting him out. Despite plenty of barking and reactivity at first, she was amazing with him, and within about half an hour, he had settled and was accepting treats from her hand. We were so impressed with Reine that we’ll absolutely continue using her for our pet‑sitting needs in the future, and hopefully one day she’ll finally get to meet Sweetie properly! We’ll also be getting Reine back to help with some additional training for our dog. Highly recommend."
