Growing up caring for family dogs, cats, chickens, horses, donkeys, and birds led me to a long and fulfilling career as a Veterinary Nurse, working in both large and small animal practices. I have experience conducting puppy preschools and assisting with dog training and animal behavioral issues.

I became a house and pet sitter purely by accident whilst travelling around Australia in our van for 2 years, as a chance to get out of the van for a bit, that van gets to be a very small space on wheels  and also to enjoy the company of four legged furry pets which I missed. Now I am back in my own home I would like to continue caring for animals whose owners are unable to take their pet with them on holiday.I truly believe that a pet gets a more positive experience with doggie home care than at a kennel,being able to be part of a family. While in my care they would be treated as a member of our family going in the car etc if allowed.
I will be taking smallish dogs only up to 10kg,no puppies sorry as I only have a small fenced yard and it will be on a one family basis at a time. I have a doggie door in the laundry so the pet can access the yard for toilet. I live near a lovely park where I walk  most mornings and my little charge is welcome to come with me if allowed. It has 2 off leash areas one for small dogs and one for larger dogs. This option is only if the dog is allowed. There will be no charge for this walk. Other walks can be negiotated  At this stage I am not offering pet sitting in the owners home but that could change in the future.. I don't have any pets myself, no children live with me(I am retired) and  I live with my husband. My interests are cooking,keeping fit, paper craft and travel.
My experience with pet sitting is varied looking after  many types of animals in that 2 years  with  medications needed by some,  anxiety issues with others etc. We did 20+ house sits on our travels and have excellent references which I am happy to share  ( I still look after a little 15 year old dog at my home to this day from time to time.) I have obtained a National Police check and have  been screened as a NDIS worker ( I was a volunteer for a time).
I have a current drivers license and have access to a car which means I am negotiable with pickup or delivery of your pet back to your home if needed and close by. I live in Rochedale South with a  emergency pet hospital in Springwood
If interested I would welcome a Meet and Greet with you and your pet. I will ask lots of questions about your pet so as to look after them as you wish. I ask that you supply your pets food and bring their bedding with them and any toys they love.We can discuss  any relevant concerns and requests when we meet up.

Hi there! We are an adventurous and dog loving small family of 2 who would love to look after your precious doggo/s in our home. One or two dogs at most at any one time will stay with us. This means we can spend plenty of time with your dog in a calm, quiet environment.
We love walks in nature and would treat your dog like we treat our own - which is very, very well! Our senior border collie recently passed, so the company of paw friends is so appreciated! We have parks, the esplanade and a dog beach just down the road so day adventure trips are a must if your dog is up for it. I work from home a lot, so the company of your dog would be really valued. Our 4 legged guests are very pampered. We will take your dog for a half an hour walk each afternoon or morning, so this daily walk is included in the price. All we ask is for you to supply food, leads etc and any bedding. We have a fully fenced yard and lovely home for your pet to enjoy. Free to be in the house with us and sleep inside of course. If it's hot we also have fans and aircon. Your pet is welcome on our furniture. Your pet could sleep similar to the way it is accustomed to - we can accommodate any arrangement. We do have possums around, so we do prefer to sleep dogs inside to avoid upsetting the possums and to keep barking to a minimum. Your pet is welcome to stay, however must be vaccinated and friendly with other dogs and child. If you have a known escape artist, this isnt the right home for you. There are both sunny and shady spots in the fully fenced yard to rest, toy for play and sturdy gates. 
We provide updates while your away, with photos and updates of how your pet is going and what activities they are up to.Basically we are providing a home away from home for your furbaby.

Hi. Im Natalie. I have run a small animal rescue for the last 10 years from my home, taking in and rehabilitating unwanted or unwell guinea pigs, rats, birds and chickens and finding them new homes. I also am mum to 2 adopted cats and a giant rescue dog of my own!&nbsp;
I work from home most days, and live with my toddler and a house full of our beloved pets including cats, a dog, some birds and guinea pigs. I am available to visit once or twice a day to ensure your pets have everything they need whilst you are away.&nbsp;
I have previously worked as a pet sitter minding cats and dogs, though now I am a project coordinator running studies looking for genes in illnesses such as Epilepsy and Anorexia. My love for animals is still an enormous part of who I am, hence the not-for-profit rescue and my own houseful of furry and feathered critters.&nbsp;
I would happily host smaller animals (i.e. birds, rodents) in my home overnight, but as I have my own small pets and a toddler I can only offer daytime home visits for dogs and cats.
