I live in Ipswich and work in Carole Park, so I’m available ideally in between / near those areas. Happy to swing past Springfield, Ripley etc.  Please ask if you're not sure.  I have my own car am happy to help people out when they go away on holidays and earn some extra cash along the way - rent isn't as cheap as it used to be!  I'm big on communication and will happily send you photos of your fur babies and keep you updated on how they are traveling whilst you're away.&nbsp;

I currently work full time pet sitting, so I have a lot of free time to spend with your pets and can give them the care and attention they need. As a mum of five humans (ages 7 to 15) and a very proud mumma to two absolutely adored dogs, chaos, cuddles, and unconditional love are just part of my everyday life.  There’s almost always someone around ready to give your pet a pat, a cuddle, or a bit of extra attention.I know firsthand how hard it is to trust someone with your fur babies—I use a pet sitter myself, so I get it. You want someone who treats your pets like family, not just a job… and that’s exactly what I do. Expect belly rubs, chats, playtime, and plenty of “who’s a good boy/girl?!” moments.We offer overnight stays at our place, check-ins at yours, and day sitting during school holidays—flexible care to suit you and your pet’s needs.We also make sure your pets stay comfortable and safe in the Queensland heat—walks are done early in the morning or later in the evening when it’s cooler, and outdoor water bowls are refreshed at least twice a day (more often on those extra hot days).To help your pet feel right at home, dogs are welcome inside if they’re toilet trained, and we even have a doggy door they can use. They’re welcome to sleep inside or outside—whatever they’re used to. We also have a shaded patio area with a fan where they can relax and stay cool. And if your pet prefers some quiet time, we can easily create a calm, cosy space just for them.When we welcome a visiting pet into our home, we do our best to make them feel safe, comfortable, and accommodated as part of our family. We will feed visiting pets separately and, if needed, keep them separate from our own dogs to ensure everyone feels secure and relaxed. We do prefer dogs to be desexed.Before the first stay, I would love to arrange a meet-and-greet at your home so your fur baby can get to know me, and I can also learn more about them, their routine, and their surroundings.Pets can be supervised both inside and outside the home. We have cameras around and inside the house so we can keep an eye on them at all times, even if we are in another room.Our yard is fully fenced and includes a separate fenced-off area on the left-hand side, which is perfect for separate feeding, quiet time, or giving pets their own space if needed. Our fences are high and secure, and we also have dig-proof barriers in place near the smaller side gate for extra safety.Now, full honesty… I have a soft spot for about 90% of pets If it has eight legs, a stinger, or slithers… we might need to have a quick chat first Otherwise, your pets will be loved, spoiled, and cared for just like my own—because that’s exactly what they deserve.

I’m Xanthia, currently located in Ipswich, sharing a home with my family and 3 beautiful cats.

I absolutely adore animals of all shapes and sizes and often wish I could save them all 🥹 I’ve grown up around animals my whole life, which sparked a true passion and led me toward a career in animal welfare. While I work full time, pet sitting is a rewarding hobby that allows me to do what I love most! 

Growing up with dog obedience and agility training, as well as fostering animals, has given me valuable experience and strong skills in understanding animal behaviour. I have a knowledgeable, calm, and nurturing approach, and I always strive to ensure every pet in my care feels happy, safe and healthy. 

I live in a lovely, spacious home with a fully fenced backyard in a safe and friendly neighbourhood. There’s a nearby park and plenty of scenic walking routes, providing lots of opportunities for exercise, enrichment, and fun.

I have been around animals my entire life and have experience caring for pets of all ages and needs. My last dog had a lot of special needs so I am confident administering oral medications, navigating food allergies and physical limitations. I am also happy to work with animals who aren't 100% toilet trained as I know this situation well.
My experience caring for a range of animals gives me confidence to meet your furbabies needs while your away. Im open to working with cats, dogs, birds and happy to feed fish, collect mail and water plants as needed aswell.
Between my husband and I, we will ensure timely visits especially for medications and scheduled walks. Your pets are in safe, loving hands. We are based in Ipswich area but I currently commute to Brisbane for work so can do locations in between as needed.
