Hello! I'm Pip and will treat your furry friend like family. I only walk one dog at a time so that your pet gets my undivided attention (unless you have a second dog and you want them walked together). I am flexible with timing and able to walk and /or visit your pet at the time that works best for your schedule during the day.
I love and understand dogs and recognise that they are all unique and have different needs. I will take time to develop a trusting relationship with your pet, and will accommodate all requests that you have regarding their care.&nbsp;
Your pet’s well-being is my 100% focus and concern. I prioritize safety above all else, implementing proper leash protocols and maintaining a keen eye on their surroundings during our outings.
Beyond the walks, I can provide companionship and enrichment, engaging your furry friend in stimulating activities to keep their minds sharp and their hearts full. Whether it's a game of fetch, learning new commands / tricks, some gentle grooming, or simply a reassuring cuddle, I am committed to nurturing their emotional well-being as well as their physical health.
I will always communicate clearly and will provide photos and updates of your furry friend.&nbsp;I am comfortable to administer medication, have my First Aid certificate, and an up to date Police Check.&nbsp;
I used to be a Project Administrator in both London and Sydney which used my excellent organisational skills and required a calm demeanour and great flexibility which also transfers into my dog walking. I am now enjoying a more relaxed lifestyle here in Tasmania. I volunteer for Kingston Council, run a Book Club, enjoy Zumba, walk and care for dogs (including my own 7-year old Shoodle), and am developing my gardening skills.

My mother loved animals, and my father loved outdoor adventures. My sisters and I inherited those loves. We grew up near the beach in Melbourne, and that's where we took our dog twice a day.&nbsp;
Our long-term pets were a dog (Labrador/border collie), two cats, lots of chickens, and occasionally rabbits and other small animals. We rescued baby birds, and kittens illegally dumped in the coastal reserve. My sisters grew up to be vets. In my teenage years I often looked after, and walked, neighbours' dogs.&nbsp;
I like small dogs, but big dogs are my favourites. I live near the beach in Sandy Bay, Hobart. There is a dog walking beach in the mornings near my home. Of course there's another well-known dog beach at Kingston. Dogs on leads are permitted in the bush reserve uphill from my home.&nbsp;

I've grown up with pets my whole life and love comforting our furry friends! I have experience with multiple breeds of medium to large dogs (Border collie, Dalmatian, Greyhound) and domestic cats. I currently have a domestic short-haired cat who is very friendly.&nbsp;
I recently moved to the eastern shore of Tassie so im looking for a way to to fill my free time, and thought that pet sitting would be a great option!
As someone who travels for work, I understand the anxiety of leaving pets at home, and look forward to bringing piece of mind to all pet owners. I have used this platform to find a sitter for my own pet while travelling, and this experience has inspired me to be a pet sitter myself.
My services include home visits and pet walking, and I am happy to discuss other options to fulfil your pets needs and give you peace of mind while travelling. This includes other house sitting services such as collecting mail and taking out bins if you require.
