I will treat your home and belongings with respect, just as I would like to be treated by others (universal law).I understand very well that different pets have different needs, and I will maintain the daily routine of your pets as much as I can while I care for them, and am comfortable administering medications where necessary.Walking in nature is one of my favourite things. My child only spends 50% of the time with me, but for that reason I would need two bedroomed accomodation. Ace my son loves cats (has two of his own at dad's house) and very keen on ice skating. We used to live in the Eco Village in Aldinga and now being nearer Adelaide city is more convenient for us now that Ace has discovered his ice skating passion.I love gardening and animals, and I like to spend my time meditating, doing yoga, reading, messing around on my acoustic guitar and cuddling animals. I have owned my own house both in the UK (twice) and here in Adelaide (once) and I've had many rentals. I have an abundance of good references and have been asked back to the same places to housesit multiple times. My name is Jill, I'm 60 years old, mum to 2 dogs - Lamb Chop an 8 year old boxer and Honey a 3 year old Daschund. I am very excited to offer my services as a carer for your beloved pets. 
I am mum to 3 boys and a grandparent to three perfect little people who I adore. I am now retired and want to spend more time doing things that I love and pets are my happy place. 
I have become a pet sitter because I have been through the anxiety of where to find the best place to leave my own pets. Invariably that ends up being a trip with them. Or occasionally a son is living back in SA and will mind them. So, I completely understand the worry and I get the responsibility. I can offer regular updates and photos whilst you're away for some extra reassurance. Or, if you're like me, video chats with your fur babies.
For home visits I will come in and spend at least 30 minutes with your pet at each visit, playing, feeding, checking water is fresh and, if necessary I can water your plants and bring in the mail, attend to bins. 
For walks I will take your pets for at least a 30 minute walk or less if that's what they require. I will not walk pets on hot days when pavements and roads are too hot. But can spend time in active play as an alternative. 
If you can give me clear guidelines I would love to keep to your pets normal routine as closely as possible. Basically, I want to make your time away as unnoticed as possible by your pets.
Living in a small home with 2 dogs of my own I can't offer boarding or day care. 

Hello! My name is Shannon. Back in 2018 I had experience with pet sitting as I used to travel to locations all over Adelaide with a friend to look after fur babies (can't help but call them that). It's been too long since I have had the chance to get back into it. And I finally have a decent amount of time to dedicate to being a pet sitter. 
My motivation stems from a genuine love for animals, adoring all types. Cats in particular have my heart, they're the sweetest and I've never had a negative experience with a cat or a dog. Growing up I had a few cats which I still really miss. 
Most of my experience is with small to medium dogs, and one Great Dane! And many cats. 
Im willing to do drop bys to make sure the animals are fed, played with and walked, I'm also wanting to do overnight stays, as I love the responsibilities that come with looking after a pet. Making sure they have someone there, especially when I've built up the trust. I'd have one myself but I just can't financially justify that yet! So the privilege of taking care of a pet and giving you as an owner the peace of mind, that they are safe and happy (will always send pictures) is fulfilling enough.
I have a lot of spare time, and all the attention in the world to give to your pets. I'm always 15-30 minutes early once a schedule has been set, as it can give me time to get to know both you and your pet. I'm so keen to learn the different personalities that come with any breed.

I have been a dog parent for years and completely understand the importance of a pet in an owner's life. Pets only understand the language of love and I have seen it when I was petting my own or was baby sitting my friends' or neighbours' pets.&nbsp;
Though coming from an IT background, I realized it at the age of 40, what my real passion was. I want to spend time and get and give unconditional love from these species who communicate loud without words. A family who's passionate for dogs, we all are looking forward to welcome your fur baby with open arms. For the comfort of the pet, I am absolutely fine visiting the owner's home. My home is equipped with a gated backyard providing enough space for the pet to walk around and at the same time have open parks in less than 100meters range to go for long walks.&nbsp;
Dogs need space and it's best for them to run and develop their muscle strength. I am happy and comfortable to take them to leash walks in nearby parks and have them interact with their friends. While it's fun to play with them, but it's equally important to get them to a routine of play, eat and sleep. I believe in working with the owners to understand their patterns and likes/dislikes so they can be taken care of well. In totality, I have about 3-4 years of experience living and loving pets, but that has changed my overall perspective towards life and humanity in general.&nbsp;
