Hello, my name is Georgina. Animals are not only my passion but also my job as I am a Wildlife Biologist and have worked on species such as Tasmanian devils, meerkats and koalas.

I currently reside in Ipswich but often travel for work so my availability may differ from week to week. Because I travel for work I can’t have a pet of my own so I’d love to look after yours to get my animal fix :) I’ll happily walk your dog or visit your furbaby at your home and make sure they receive some love, attention and food.

I am also happy to care for alternative pets such as birds, reptiles etc and can administer medicine if need be. I am a very organised person and will happily follow any instructions given to me.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any further questions. I look forward to meeting you and your furry companions! Thanks so much!

Hi, I'm Megan, I am 31 years old and I am currently living in Ipswich with my husband and our three budgies, Basil, Bleu, and Indigo. Currently I do not have any children. We did have a much- loved Miniature Bull Terrier named Amos who was our fur baby, and who sadly passed away. I have always loved animals since I can remember, enjoy seeing the different characteristics they all have, and the love and loyalty they give. I am currently working a casual job that some days it requires me to step out out of the house. I do have security cameras to keep an eye on your pet whilst away. I will work around my schedule so your pet gets all the attention and care they need. I decided to join Pawshake because I want to work with animals, and to help people out who need someone to look after their much beloved pet when they need it the most. Growing up I had fish, birds, dogs, and a duck. Being surrounded by animals my whole life has given me the joy, experience and love for them. I've had my own pets, and I've looked after family members pets also. I've looked after dogs, chickens, and birds. I like getting out and going for walks, whether it's along the beach, the bush, and or suburb area. Happy to cater to your animals needs and interests if they prefer to only walk a certain route or go to the dog park where we can throw the ball and have fun or sit and cuddle together. Our house is fully fenced with plenty of yard space for your animal to run around and investigate. We have a large doggy door so your pet can come in and out of the house. We have a low set house with no stairs which is perfect if you have an older animal.Your pets will be loved just like my own. I only take on one client (booking) at a time, so your pets have all of my attention. I would love to meet your fur babies and see if we are a good fit for each other. I am happy to answer any questions you may have. Look forward to meeting you both.

As a mum of five humans (ages 7 to 15) and a very proud mumma to two absolutely adored dogs, chaos, cuddles, and unconditional love are just part of my everyday life. There’s almost always someone around ready to give your pet a pat, a cuddle, or a bit of extra attention.I know firsthand how hard it is to trust someone with your fur babies—I use a pet sitter myself, so I get it. You want someone who treats your pets like family, not just a job… and that’s exactly what I do. Expect belly rubs, chats, playtime, and plenty of “who’s a good boy/girl?!” moments. We offer overnight stays at our place, check-ins at yours, and day sitting during school holidays—flexible care to suit you and your pet’s needs. We also make sure your pets stay comfortable and safe in the Queensland heat—walks are done early in the morning or later in the evening when it’s cooler, and outdoor water bowls are refreshed at least twice a day (more often on those extra hot days). To help your pet feel right at home, dogs are welcome inside if they’re toilet trained, and we even have a doggy door they can use. They’re welcome to sleep inside or outside—whatever they’re used to. We also have a shaded patio area with a fan where they can relax and stay cool. And if your pet prefers some quiet time, we can easily create a calm, cosy space just for them. When we welcome a visiting pet into our home, we do our best to make them feel safe, comfortable, and accommodated as part of our family. We will feed visiting pets separately and, if needed, keep them separate from our own dogs to ensure everyone feels secure and relaxed. We do prefer dogs to be desexed. Before the first stay, I would love to arrange a meet-and-greet at your home so your fur baby can get to know me, and I can also learn more about them, their routine, and their surroundings.Pets can be supervised both inside and outside the home. We have cameras around and inside the house so we can keep an eye on them at all times, even if we are in another room. Our yard is fully fenced and includes a separate fenced-off area on the left-hand side, which is perfect for separate feeding, quiet time, or giving pets their own space if needed. Our fences are high and secure, and we also have dig-proof barriers in place near the smaller side gate for extra safety. Now, full honesty… I have a soft spot for about 90% of pets If it has eight legs, a stinger, or slithers… we might need to have a quick chat first Otherwise, your pets will be loved, spoiled, and cared for just like my own—because that’s exactly what they deserve.

Hi there, I’m Cheryl, in my 40's, and I absolutely adore animals! I currently live in a house with 2 extremely spoiled cats but am always around cats, dogs and birds. Animals have always been in my life, and I really enjoy spending time with them.
I live in Ipswich and work in Carole Park, so I’m available ideally in between / near those areas. Happy to swing past Springfield, Ripley etc. Please ask if you're not sure. I have my own car am happy to help people out when they go away on holidays and earn some extra cash along the way - rent isn't as cheap as it used to be! I'm big on communication and will happily send you photos of your fur babies and keep you updated on how they are traveling whilst you're away.
I am a Justice of the Peace (Qualified), and have passed a criminal history / police check.
Happy to discuss pricing discounts for long accounts.
If you’d like to know more, please feel free to contact me.

Hi️
I am an experienced pet carer with years of experience through other platforms and in other countries where I had many regulars.
I have worked with all types of breeds, ages & personalities.
I also have experience with giving medication to senior dogs.
I have two small dogs of my own, a playful jackapoo & a chill sleepy chihuahua
I understand how stressful it can be to leave your pets with someone new, so I am happy to send plenty of photos & keep you updated throughout the day.
Because I do have my own little ones, I only take in fully vaccinated pets to keep everyone safe & healthy.
I am also happy to arrange meet & greets to ensure your pet is comfortable and we are the right fit for each other ️
I have a grass garden with secure fencing in my home
Looking forward to hearing from you all & meeting your lovely fur babies!
Feel free to message me with any questions or enquires

I’m someone who genuinely enjoys the quiet, grounding presence of animals. I have always had pets who are my best mates, with my loving staffie passimg away last year at the age of 19. Spending time with pets gives me a sense of routine, calm, and purpose whether that’s walking, feeding, playing, or simply keeping them company.I’m reliable, organised, and respectful. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your animals and i would love to meet you and your pet before looking after them. I’m attentive to routines, instructions, and individual needs, and I’m comfortable giving medications and caring for pets of different ages, temperaments, and energy levels.I'm very active, I enjoy walks, outdoor time and love spending time with your loved pets outside. I’m also just as happy providing calm companionship for pets who prefer a slower pace. I value consistency, patience, and clear communication, and I aim to make time away from home as stress-free as possible for both pets and owners.Due to having an elderly dog of my own, im only offering walks and feeding/ spending time with your pets from the comfort of their own home.

I've always had a deep love for animals and genuinely enjoy spending my time caring for them. Unfortunately, I am unable to have an animal at home due to renting, so this is the next best thing! (I’m always the person who says hello to dogs before humans)
Becoming a pet sitter allows me to combine that passion with providing owners peace of mind, knowing their pets are safe, loved, and well cared for while they’re away. I currently volunteer with the RSPCA, where I’ve gained hands-on experience caring for animals of different personalities such as shy, cheeky, dramatic, and everything in between.
I understand how important trust, patience, and compassion are when it comes to animals, and I treat every pet as if they were my own.
While you are away I'm more than happy to send updates and photos, for total peace of mind, I offer short/long walks as well as visiting to check in/hang out and having sleepovers with your pets when needed.
I can't wait to meet your pet 🤍
