Hi, I’m Eva!

I’ve been a dog lover for as long as I can remember and have turned that passion into a career working with animals. I’ve completed my Certificate III in Dog Training and Behaviour with the National Dog Training Federation, as well as a Certificate II in Animal Care through TAFE NSW.

I have lots of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments, and I genuinely love getting to know each animal and building trust with them and making sure they feel comfortable. 

I also hold basic animal first aid training, so your pets’ safety and wellbeing are always a top priority.

I currently work at Pak Dog Training, where I take part in daily structured pack dog walks and I am confident walking up to five dogs in a pack.

 I’ve also worked in several dog daycare facilities and i’ve also worked with horses, and volunteered at the Bargo Dingo Sanctuary — so I’m very comfortable handling a wide range of animals.

I’m just as happy caring for cats and understand that they need a calmer, more gentle approach tailored to their own routines and personalities.

At home, I have two friendly dogs who are very used to welcoming other dogs into our home. 

I have a big, fully fenced and secure backyard, and all dogs stay and sleep inside the house as part of the family and I always make sure I send photo updates so you know your pet is happy and safe. 

 I would love to look after your fur babies and make sure they feel comfortable and loved while you’re away. 

I recently took a 9 month break in 2025 to focus on fostering dogs, which was an incredibly rewarding experience but I'm back and excited to start looking after your dog again! ️

I have always been the type of person to look for the pet at a party and ask my friends how their four legged family members are doing in a phone call. As such, petsitting was a natural profession for me when I started in 2016. I have taken care of a variety of dog and cat breeds as well as more unconventional pets such as lizards and snakes! I don't do any petsitting in my home but have been petsitting at clients homes since I first started, overnight and daily trips, and I make sure to be respectful and clean. I am an American Citizen here on a working holiday visa, learning to be a Wollongong local and staying with my sister who has lived in the area for over five years now.&nbsp;
I grew up with pets in the home and most recently lived by my parents who had three dogs   ,an elderly boxer mix, a mini labradoodle and a pitbull whom I walked and watched regularly alongside just about all of the pets in their neighborhood. I’m also happy to bring water for longer walks and ensure everything is kept clean and respectful in public spaces.Since I can’t have pets where I currently live, pet sitting allows me to do something I genuinely enjoy: caring for animals and making sure they feel loved and well looked after while you’re away.I’m available all day on weekends, Monday and Thursday, and mornings (before 2pm) on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. I do not have much experience with taking care of other people's pets other than taking care of my cousin's dog, however I do have two lovely cats of my own, a female calico and a male tabby.I have a strong sense of empathy and responsibility, shown through my commitment in taking care of my cats. Both of my cats are adopted, my calico who was found in a box when she was just a kitten and my tabby who found us when his previous owner abandoned him.
