My name is Kayne!
I am a Dog and Cat sitter/walker located in Alkimos Beach. I am 36 years old, I work Part Time and am eager to fill in my spare time with any kind of pet sitting as I love all animals and have many years experience with Dogs and Cats. 
Growing up my siblings were 3 dogs (I am an only child) A Silky Terrier, Jack Russel and a Bull Terrier. Before school most days I would walk the dogs down the beach or the local park and always felt very confident I had a good handle over them as they always listened to instructions without an issues 
When I was 21 I rescued a Puggle (Pug/Beagle) named Fry. He was 1 years old and did not know any commands or how to behave whatsoever. I spent all my spare time with Fry to get him up to speed with basic commands and behavioural training and it was the most rewarding experience once the work started to pay off. He was a very good boy, he just hadn't been taught anything!
Unfortunately I only had Fry for 8 years and the loss of him took me quite a few years to get another Pet which is how I have ended up with Mischa! My 8 year old Russian Blue Rescue from Cat Haven. She is extremely small but has a massive sassy personality. Getting to know her over the last 9 years has been nothing but fun and laughter.

I had the privilege of sharing my life with two incredible cats who lived to the remarkable age of 22. Together, we traveled the world, living in six different countries before settling back in Australia. They were my family, my adventure buddies, and my greatest teachers in understanding the unique personalities and needs of cats.
While my beloved cats have recently passed, I find myself with so much love and care to give to other people’s pets. I know firsthand how important it is to have someone you trust looking after your furry family members while you’re away.&nbsp;

I work part time as a nurse (human) and spend all my free time with my pets.&nbsp;
I have 2 rabbits and 2 dogs and have been working around animals since I was 14 from doing mobile dog grooming to puppy training and basic obedience training.&nbsp;
I have house sat multiple dogs ranging from large breed shepherds to small breed cavoodles and everything in between! I have experience with aggressive and reactive dogs and have expierence in vet med so happy to administer medications as instructed so can cater to those more difficult pups as well! 
My house is a large open plan design with spare rooms for the pups that require more quieter hours. I have a large fenced in backyard, and with multiple parks in close walking distance your pup will not be bored! 
I have a specialised crate setup that is crash tested to transport your pups safely to the beach and other fun hikes!

I have previous animal care experience. I worked in doggy daycare for a few years, as well as Cat Haven. More recently I was a foster carer for another Perth cat rescue for over a year. I currently volunteer with black cockatoos every other Wednesday, and have previously volunteered with other wildlife, so I am open to looking in on animals other than only dogs and cats.&nbsp;
Currently, I am available on Wednesdays for dog walks and/or checking in on your pets. I am available every other Wednesday AM (due to volunteering), but available every Wednesday PM (after 12pm). Available to walk up to an hour.
Depending on the sizes and how your dogs are on a lead, I am happy to possibly walk two dogs at a time. I am happy to walk them within their neighbourhood and nearby parks. If they are okay in the car, I am also happy to visit a nearby dog beach.
I have a police check that I am happy to provide as well.
