"It was our first time using Pawshake and we absolutely scored with Suki - a lovely human and a total cat whisperer. Our cat warmed uo to Suki in 48 hours and was so affectionate (one might say almost more than with us! 😆). Suki is very diligent, a great listener and pays attention to every small detail. Our instructions were followed to a tee. We loved getting daily updates on our cat’s adventures - Suki is an excellent communicator. My girls were so grateful for the way Suki cared for our cat that they insisted we get her a souvenir from our trip. Suki clearly loves animals and is amazing at taking care of them. Thank you so much, Suki. "

"Sarah was an absolutely amazing pet sitter for my cat, Sirius. From the moment we met, I could tell she genuinely cared about animals. She sent me tons of photos and updates throughout the stay, which really helped ease my mind while I was away. Sirius looked so happy and well cared for in every picture—it was clear he was in great hands. I came home to a calm, content kitty, and I couldn’t be more grateful. I highly recommend Sarah to anyone looking for a kind, reliable, and attentive sitter!"

"Madison is a great pet sitter, her communication skills were fantastic and we received regular updates on our two cats, as well as photos. I knew straight away after first talking to Madison that we had made a really good choice in picking her to look after our pets as she is a very switched on and an active person in her personal life. I can't recommend her highly enough."

"We had the absolute pleasure of having Zoi take care of our cats, and we couldn’t be more impressed with her outstanding service. From the very beginning, it was clear that Zoi has a natural affinity with animals - our cats adored her!
Zoi went above and beyond, especially as one of our cats got ill just before we went away and required medication. She managed this added responsibility with such ease and professionalism, ensuring our cat was well cared for. Her communication was exceptional, keeping us updated with regular messages, photos, and detailed updates that put our minds at ease.
A particularly challenging moment arose when one of our cats experienced an emergency. Zoi handled the situation with remarkable care, compassion, and urgency, treating our beloved pet as if he were her own. Her dedication and love were evident in every interaction.
We cannot thank Zoi enough for her incredible service. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable, caring, and exceptional pet sitter. Without a doubt, we would happily entrust our cats to her again in the future."

"Absolutely recommended.
Mayu recently looked after two of my wife and I's cats whilst we were overseas for over a week. This was made more complicated due to the fact that the cats were not yet friendly with each other (so they need to be kept separate), whilst still having their own time to roam around the house. More-so, one cat is on medication, whilst the other is very shy and sensitive.
Mayu was proactive from the beginning about learning about the cats, their routines, their needs, and our needs as owners. She stopped in for a visit prior to the booking in order to meet the cats, review all of the details, and clarify any remaining questions.
Whilst we were away, she provided daily updates on the health and mood of the cats, as well as fantastic photos of them (one of which is now my lock screen photo). She kept the litter boxes clean, fed the cats on a consistent schedule, refilled the water, provided medication, played with the cats, groomed them when possible, and made sure to tidy up after herself. Basically everything you'd want and expect in a cat sitter.
Incredibly, the shy cat came out of her shell, and Mayu was able to give her chin scratches for the final few days. This was a brilliant update to see, as this cat usually takes much longer to feel comfortable with new people, and proves the ability for Mayu to earn trust from cats.
We came back to both of our cats being in good health and happy to see us.
We'll definitely be booking Mayu in the future."

"11 our of 10 stars! I'm so appreciative of Alex and Jesse who took care of our cats while we were overseas for 3 weeks. I always looked forward to their daily photo updates, and they even had one of our cats playing with them, which is unheard of with strangers! I highly recommend them as sitters and would definitely book with them again ❤️"

Why cat sitting ?
Many cat owners will understand that cats can be fussy and prefer their own home environment rather than an unfamiliar place like a cattery or cat hotel. Although some cats can adapt to cat boarding if they have to, most cats become stressed when transported somewhere new.
This is where a friendly Alphington VIC Pawshake cat feeder or carer can help. Our Alphington VIC cat sitting expert can come and visit your cat while you are away on holiday or at work. A cat sitter can even stay overnight if required, which is far less stressful than sending your feline friend to a cattery for cat boarding. Whether you just need a sitter for a couple of hours or someone to visit each day for a week, our Alphington VIC cat sitters can tailor their service to suit you and please even the fussiest kitty.
Although most cats are independent, having a cat carer visit has a lot of benefits. Your chosen Pawshake cat sitter can feed, freshen up the water bowl, tidy the litter tray, and spend quality time with your cat. And unlike a cattery or cat hotel, your cat can chill out in their own familiar space.
Finally, every booking with Pawshake is with a verified carer and includes the Pawshake Guarantee and veterinary coverage, so you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your feline companion!
