"Hands down the best pet sitter ever!I cannot recommend Aiye enough! She watched our four furbabies—our two big dogs (Anika and Bentley) and our two cats (Kobi and Aki)—from July 15th to 21st while we were away in Bali for our wedding.
Leaving our pets for a trip that huge was super stressful, but Aiye gave me complete peace of mind. She sent photos and videos every single day, was always super easy to reach, and answered any texts right away. Seeing those updates while away was such a massive relief. From our very first meetup, all four of our pets clicked with her instantly. She genuinely loved them, picked up on their little personalities right away, and catered to their every need. She followed our routine to a T! Managing our setup isn't simple. Our dogs are outdoors only and our cats are strictly indoors. She handled feeding perfectly, keeping our big food-thief Anika over in the car porch area while Bentley got to take his sweet time eating on the decking. She also looked after the cats' feeder, water, and litter without missing a beat. Aiye goes SO far above and beyond. At one point, our youngest cat Aki decided to hide behind the TV. Aiye spent her entire visit searching for him to make sure he was okay. I literally told her she could go home and I’d just check our indoor cameras later to see when he came out, but she refused to leave until she actually found him herself! She left the house absolutely spotless. We adore her and her husband so much that we told them to help themselves to drinks and snacks and kick back with the TV while visiting. To be honest, I trust her with my pets when I don't even feel comfortable leaving them with family (besides my sister!). I will 100% be hiring her every single time we travel from now on. You truly couldn’t ask for a better person to trust with your animals!"

"Marion was absolutely amazing! She took such wonderful care of our four bunnies while we were overseas. My partner and I were quite nervous about leaving them behind, but Marion instantly put us at ease with her excellent communication and regular photo updates. She was incredibly thoughtful and attentive especially on hot days in Melbourne keeping us informed and making sure our apartment stayed cool and comfortable for the rabbits. We came home to very happy, well-cared-for bunnies and couldn’t be more grateful. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Marion to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter."

"Sarah was an absolutely amazing pet sitter for my cat, Sirius. From the moment we met, I could tell she genuinely cared about animals. She sent me tons of photos and updates throughout the stay, which really helped ease my mind while I was away. Sirius looked so happy and well cared for in every picture—it was clear he was in great hands. I came home to a calm, content kitty, and I couldn’t be more grateful. I highly recommend Sarah to anyone looking for a kind, reliable, and attentive sitter!"

"Emma is everything we were after from a pet sitter to look after our cats. She cared for them well and communicated clearly. She also managed to get our more nervous cat to come out for pats (which is no easy feat for someone new). We will definitely ask Emma to sit for us again if she stays in the business!

"Capucine & Declan are incredible pet sitters!
They go above and beyond. They took care of all 3 of our animals while overseas, 2 visits a day and dog walking: sent me photos every visit updating me on each of the animals. Cleaned the areas each animal uses and maintained the cleanliness of the entire house. We extended our holiday and kept them on without any worry or concern for our animals.
This couple is a dynamic duo, reliable, honest, kind & a true power pet sitting force. Will use this duo every time we go away or for extra walks when needed. You won’t regret using this duo!! "

"Michelle was amazing and took such good care of my two fur babies, sending through cute photos twice daily. She also cleaned and vacuumed my unit so it looked great when I arrived back home. My little rescue girl Luna really took to her even though she's scared of most people. I will definitely book with Michelle if she's available again next time "

"I cannot recommend Brandy more highly. She was so kind to my cat Mabel and so dedicated to providing the service I hired her for, she came back a couple of times when the job couldn’t be completed which she wasn’t expected to do (but I very much appreciated it). She stayed in touch with me every step of the way. Thank you so much Brandy, having you care for Mabel while I was away gave me so much peace of mind. If Brandy is available to care for your pets you should 100% hire her. Thank you Brandy! "

Why cat sitting ?
Many cat owners will understand that cats can be fussy and prefer their own home environment rather than an unfamiliar place like a cattery or cat hotel. Although some cats can adapt to cat boarding if they have to, most cats become stressed when transported somewhere new.
This is where a friendly Fitzroy VIC Pawshake cat feeder or carer can help. Our Fitzroy VIC cat sitting expert can come and visit your cat while you are away on holiday or at work. A cat sitter can even stay overnight if required, which is far less stressful than sending your feline friend to a cattery for cat boarding. Whether you just need a sitter for a couple of hours or someone to visit each day for a week, our Fitzroy VIC cat sitters can tailor their service to suit you and please even the fussiest kitty.
Although most cats are independent, having a cat carer visit has a lot of benefits. Your chosen Pawshake cat sitter can feed, freshen up the water bowl, tidy the litter tray, and spend quality time with your cat. And unlike a cattery or cat hotel, your cat can chill out in their own familiar space.
Finally, every booking with Pawshake is with a verified carer and includes the Pawshake Guarantee and veterinary coverage, so you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your feline companion!
