I'm Alicja, a pet lover from Poland in my 30s. I studied in Gdansk (PL), where I graduated from University of Technology. When I started working remotely I decided to move to the other side of the globe :). At first house-sitting was a way of travelling for me, but after I decided to make Australia my home I thought of putting my love, patience and gathered knowledge to a more professional use. I'm currently settled in the northern Gold Coast area.
I'm very keen on all forms of art, social sciences, hiking and travelling whenever I can :) Pet care is listed under my ABN and I have current Police Check.

I'm an exceptionally tidy and responsible person. Over the past years I've successfully completed numerous full-time housesits, caring for homes and pets with excellent results — I have outstanding reviews from homeowners on my and my partner's petsitters profiles on other platforms (available upon request).
I treat every home I'm entrusted with to the highest standard — watering the plants and keeping your house clean every day is my very basics (but please note I'm not a cleaner). The best part of house sitting though is making new friends, both human and animal ones, so I'm grateful for the opportunity to connect with open and kind people and help out by caring for someone's beloved friends and house :).

I easily adapt to any routine you've established - walking dogs (and cats) daily, as often and long as you usually do. I also ask owners about their pet's favourite spots and time of the day for walks, feeding and cuddles to limit the number of stressful changes for the furry friends. Updates and photos/videos are sent at least twice a week or as often as you wish :).
Before every sit I collect basic information such as details of the vet or emergency contact person and of course as detailed description of your pet as possible.
I'm comfortable caring for pets with special needs or anxiety — I take time to let them warm up to me at their own pace and always follow the owner's guidance on triggers and routines. I closely monitor pets behaviour, administer meds and in case of any emergency, I act immediately — contacting the owner and the vet without delay. I also make sure your furry kid is never left alone for long periods; as I work remotely I'm home most of the day.

Overnight pet sitting (base rates cover 1 pet (dog or cat) and include feeding, up to 2 walks a day, litter cleaning, playing, company and all the love and cuddles). ‘Overnight’ lasts until 11am next day:
Standard rate: $50/night
Seasonal rate: $65/night

Extending last day:
until 1pm: + $15 standard / + $20 seasonal
later than 1pm: + full day rate

Additional dog: + $20/night
Additional cat: 1 is FREE, every cat above that + $15/night
For example:
- a family with 1 dog and 1 cat = daily rate $50,
- a family with 2 cats = daily rate $50,
- a family with 2 dogs = daily rate $70,
- a family with 1 dog and 2 cats = daily rate $65

Special needs care:
Constant care (for pets with separation anxiety or those who cannot be left alone for more than 2 hours, that includes pets which are not house-trained):
+ $20/night per pet,
+ $35/night per 2+ pets

High energy (for active dogs that need more than 2 walks a day included in the base rate):
+ $10/night per pet

Home visits:
- 1x visit a day: base rate of $23 (seasonal rate $30) includes feeding, litter boxes cleaning and play with up to 3 cats or up to 2 dogs.
If you’d like me to walk your dogs during a home visit (so a longer visit up to 1hr: 30mins of company, play and feeding + a walk up to 30 mins) – the base rate is $35 (seasonal rate $40) for up to 2 dogs (if they can be walked together).
- 2x home visits a day: $40 standard / $50 seasonal
- 2x home visits a day with dog walking: ‘overnight pet sitting’ rates apply.
