Hi! I would love to care for your pet/s. I am a huge dog lover and have grown up with dogs since I was about 5. Your fur baby/s will be looked after with many many cuddles and attention. I am experienced with rescues, as I do dog fostering too. I also have a clear police background check and hold an accredited RSPCA petsitters certificate. I do strongly recommend a meet n greet first, however sometimes this is not always possible if you need a sitter last minute.
I have a dog friendly park and walking tracks across the road from me in my estate so exercise is included too. I go to the park virtually every day and If it is the weekend, I can usually be inclined to take them for a day trip to the beach (in the warmer months).
I have a fully fenced secure small yard, and plenty of room indoors for fun too. Your baby can feel free to either do their own thing inside or outside, or even play with my boy and girl. Your baby will be just as loved as my own. I allow them to make themselves at home - if they want to sleep on my bed or hop on the lounge, they are more than welcome to as long as you the parent allow It. My 2 year old female absolutely loves having playmates over and gets excited at having new friends over.
Von is a beautiful natured lady and I couldn't have been more satisfied with her service
My dog seemed to be unhappy when I collected him. He has been moody and seemed frightened since I took him home 2 days ago. It is obvious that my dog has slimmed down and his eyes have lots of mucus and I m concerned if there is any infection. There was a wound near the nose which was dried up but I was not told how my dog was injured.Despite the fact that I was informed that there were quite a few dogs to handle, i must say the hygiene of the place needs to be looked into. With so many big dogs in the house there is not much room for them to roam around.
Response from sitter:
When you contacted me last September and this month, you didn’t want to do a meet n greet which I strongly encouraged. I made you aware on the phone I had 2 of my own dogs and was petsitting another. Your dog refused to use the doggy door resulting in urine mess inside everyday, I ended up opening the door letting flies in. Flyscreen door was a bit torn from him and he jumped all over my couch with muddy paws. Its fixable, I didn’t let that worry me.
There wasnt any dried wound that I could see near his nose; but Im guessing he wasnt socialised enough to know when to back off when licking the dogs faces constantly . I Cant comment on the mucus except maybe next doors lawn mowing 2 days before he left might have triggered it. Im not sure why you would consider mud and fur on the floor as unhygienic as thats all there was when you came. It is unrealistic to mop everyday and especially when its been raining heavily and you have to work. My house became unhygienic when your dog started toileting inside that I had to open my windows everyday to try and air the place out.
Despite the minor damage and smells , I did my best to accommodate your dog especially on short notice without a meet n greet
