My name is Lia, and I’m currently living in Brisbane on a Working Holiday visa. I’m a caring, reliable, and easy-going person who genuinely loves spending time with animals.

I have over 3 years of experience caring for dogs. Back home in China, I have two lovely Shiba Inus who are currently being looked after by my family while I’m in Australia. I miss them every day, so spending time with other people’s pets brings me a lot of happiness.

Besides caring for my own dogs, I also looked after a friend’s Border Collie for about a year. This experience has made me comfortable caring for dogs of different breeds, sizes, energy levels, and personalities. Whether your dog is playful, shy, anxious, or simply enjoys a quiet routine, I’ll always be patient and adapt my care to help them feel safe and comfortable.

I usually take dogs on walks for 30–60 minutes, depending on their age, energy level, and your usual routine. During house sitting, I like to keep pets on their normal schedule with feeding, walks, playtime, rest, and lots of companionship, helping them feel relaxed while you’re away.

I’m also happy to care for households with more than one pet and will carefully follow any feeding instructions, routines, or special care requirements provided by you. I’m happy to follow any special care instructions, including medication routines, if clear instructions are provided.

Your pet’s safety is always my priority. If an emergency ever arises, I’ll stay calm, contact you immediately, and follow your preferred emergency plan or seek veterinary care if necessary.

I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, so I’ll keep you updated with regular messages and photos, giving you peace of mind throughout your time away.

I currently offer dog walking, home visits, and daytime or overnight house sitting. I’ll care for your pets as if they were my own—with love, patience, and plenty of attention.
