Hey, I am Carina, from Germany, and I have plenty of experience with dog and cat sitting. I have always had a big heart for animals and grew up around dogs, which meant I was comfortable with them from a very young age.

While living in Canada this past year, I regularly did dog and cat sitting as well as dog walking through the app Rover. With one JR Terrier in particular, I provided extended care over longer periods of time while the owner was out of town. I am also comfortable handling reactive dogs.

I have experience with the platform Trusted Housesitters as well, where I just finished sitting a Staffi in Williamstown for four weeks. 

I have additionally volunteered on small farms in Sweden through the platform Workaway, where I took care of sheep and chickens. Alongside the farm animals, I also looked after dogs and cats, making sure they were happy, healthy, and well cared for.

Two years ago, I volunteered at a dog shelter in Sri Lanka. My responsibilities there included regular walks, feeding, cleaning, administering medication, and accompanying dogs to vet visits.

I am happy to care for dogs and cats, schedule regular walks, or provide in-house stays for extended periods of time. I am flexible and available from Monday to Sunday.
