Hi! I'm a Canadian who has just recently moved to Melbourne to study medicine. Alongside my enthusiasm for health and helping people, I have a lifelong love of animals and a genuine passion for providing attentive, compassionate care. For nearly 13 years, I cared for my own large-breed dog, who was a beloved member of our family. Through every stage of his life, I gained hands-on experience with daily walks, feeding, enrichment, grooming, medication administration, and caring for an aging dog with changing needs. I also have over 5 years of experience volunteering with Cat Therapy and Rescue, where I've cared for cats of all ages and personalities, including shy, senior, and medical-needs cats. My responsibilities have included feeding, cleaning, socialization, administering medication, and supporting adoptions. I recently lost my dog, and while I'm not ready to welcome another pet into my family just yet, I truly miss being around animals. Pet sitting allows me to spend time doing something I love while helping owners feel confident that their pets are in safe and caring hands. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and pet sitting for both dogs and cats. During visits, I can provide feeding, fresh water, playtime, companionship, walks, litter box cleaning, basic grooming, medication administration, and plenty of affection and attention. I always tailor my care to your pet's normal routine and individual needs. As a medical student, my schedule can vary, but I am organised, reliable, and will always communicate clearly about my availability. I am particularly comfortable caring for dogs and cats, including senior pets and those requiring extra patience and attention. My goal is to make your pet feel comfortable, happy, and loved while you're away, treating them with the same care and respect I would give my own.
