Hey! I’m Katherine, 32 years old, a Veterinary Medicine graduate from Chile. I graduated a few years ago and have been living in Australia for the past three years, with the last year spent here in Brisbane.

I have experience as a pet sitter throughout my time in Australia, having cared for pets in Sydney, Cairns, and Brisbane. I became a vet for the simple reason that I adore animals and genuinely enjoy spending time with them! I also have a very deep interest on medicine and microbiology. 

I have worked with all kinds of pets, including reptiles and birds, and I also have some specialised knowledge in feline medicine and behaviour. I have obtained a Feline-Friendly Handling Certification from the AAFP.

Currently, I work as a kitchen hand at a school, usually Tuesday to Friday mornings, and sometimes on Saturdays as well. I’m generally available every day, but I’m happy to arrange a schedule around each pet-sitting booking to make sure it works well for both the pets and their owners. 

My services include:

🐾 Day and overnight pet sitting - 24hr care over your place, include walk once a day.

🐾 One visit Daily care - feeding, walk once a day and company for 4-8hr. Lenght will depend on the time arranged with tutors.

🐾 Regular visits - up to twice times a day to feed and checking on your pet for around 30min, walks not incluided in the fee. 

Dog walks are up to 45 minutes. I’ll take your dog for a lovely walk around the neighbourhood, and if they have a favourite park, walking route, or special spot, just let me know! 

I am comfortable administering all kinds of medications, including oral medications and injections. I can also water your plants and take care of your fish tank or reptiles. These services are included as part of the other pet-sitting services. 

I also offer pet baths if you’d like your dog or cat to come home smelling fresh and looking lovely! 🛁🐾 The service includes ear cleaning and nail clipping. An additional fee applies, depending on your pet’s size and weight.
