My motivation to be a pet sitter comes from a genuine love for animals and a strong sense of responsibility when caring for someone else’s much-loved pet. I understand that pets are family, and I am committed to providing attentive, reliable care so owners can feel confident and at ease while they are away. I take pride in creating a calm, safe, and positive environment where animals feel secure, supported, and well cared for.

I currently have a reactive dog at home, and through this experience I have completed extensive training and ongoing behavioural work. This has given me strong skills in reading animal body language, managing challenging situations, and remaining calm and proactive in unpredictable environments. I am confident handling a wide range of behaviours and routines, including administering medication when required.

In addition to caring for my own dog, I have extensive experience looking after other people’s dogs of varying sizes, breeds, and temperaments, including English Bulldogs, Dachshunds, Boxers, and German Shepherds. I am highly experienced in walking very large, highly reactive breeds as well as managing highly energetic dogs, ensuring walks are structured, safe, and mentally enriching.

I have also conducted multiple overnight and live-in pet-sitting stays, caring for multiple dogs at once. Some of these stays have lasted for weeks and even months at a time, requiring consistency, trust, and a strong commitment to maintaining routines, exercise, and companionship.

I am patient, safety-focused, and reliable, and I always prioritise an animal’s wellbeing, comfort, and happiness. Pet sitting allows me to combine my passion for animals with hands-on care that truly makes a positive difference.
