We are a relaxed, animal-loving family based in Cheltenham, offering a calm and caring home environment for a small, well-behaved dog.

Our family includes two gentle, respectful kids aged 8 and 4 who absolutely adore dogs and would love a pet of their own one day. For now, we’ve chosen to care for other people’s dogs so we can share the love, help families when they’re away, and enjoy the companionship without a long-term commitment. Your dog would get plenty of attention, cuddles, and gentle play, and our kids understand the importance of being calm, kind, and respectful around animals.

I’m the mum of the household and am based at home during the week, which means your dog would almost always have someone around for company, supervision, and reassurance. We’re very mindful of routines and happy to follow your dog’s usual schedule so they feel settled and secure.

We’ve previously looked after dogs through Pawshake before having children and had wonderful experiences doing so. Now that our kids are older, we’re excited to have the time and space again to welcome new doggie friends into our home.

We’re best suited to a small dog who enjoys being mostly indoors, relaxing near people, soaking up affection, and engaging in low-key play rather than high-energy chaos. Our home is quiet and welcoming, and dogs are treated as part of the family.

We’re lucky to have a large backyard that backs onto a beautiful reserve, as well as quiet, leafy bushland walks right at our doorstep. As our yard is not fenced, we’re ideally suited to dogs who are reliable, not prone to bolting, and comfortable with supervised outdoor time rather than free roaming.

We truly love dogs and take their care seriously. Our goal is for your dog to feel safe, relaxed, and at home while you’re away, and for you to feel completely at ease knowing they’re being well looked after.
