"Our family was delighted to meet Marcela to look after our large breed dog and 18yr old cat. Our dog was fond of her as soon as they met.
Marcela firstly arrived at our house for a meet and greet and met us again just before we were leaving for our trip. She organised a park play for our dog to understand his outdoor routine and came back to our house to go over both pets needs for when we were away.
Her communication was daily with photos and videos.
Anything I had missed to explain she covered immediately.
Our family felt an instant trust with Marcela and this was proven by her reliability and her amazing care she took of our pets and house. She gave more than we expected.
Marcela gave us peace of mind to travel far from home and we are so grateful for meeting her.
I highly recommend her services and can not praise her enough.
I will definitely be contacting her for future jobs."

"James and Kirstie are superstar sitters! They stayed in our home for just over 2 weeks and took care of our two Great Danes while we were away. Our dogs just loved their care and attention and we returned to happy, very settled fur babies. They were also amazing at liaising with other services we had arranged while we were away, and took wonderful care of our home and garden. Our home was spotless when we returned- bliss! Nothing was too much trouble- James and Kirstie communicated promptly if there was an issue, kept us up to date with regular pictures and little stories about how everyone was doing. "Jason spent a couple of weeks house sitting our 3 cats and 1 dog. We're very happy/satisfied with the experience and outcome, our dog Matilda likes him a lot and our cats also got to trust him which is a good indication of care. "Claire was outstanding, very attentive and followed our instructions to the T, also leaving the house in immaculate condition. The cats and chickens were regularly attended to and she went above and beyond in making sure we were replied to quickly, sending pictures when requested. Couldn't fault her at all and we will be keeping in contact for future engagement."

"We have 3 cats, and they all have extremely different needs and totally different personalities. We had previously had the same pet sitter for over 10 years and this was our first experience of using Pawshake.
We couldn't be happier with Mira. She came to our home prior to the stay to go over the many requirements we had for each cat and just to meet us in general, as I was extremely apprehensive about a new pet sitter that our cats did not know.
One of my cats has extreme anxiety when new people come into our home and she was very accommodating to his needs. I was also worried about them being inside cats and the possibility of them getting out. Mira completely understood this was a major priority for us and was very conscious of ensuring they were kept safe.
Mira sent us photos and updates every day, and after a couple of days of being away my apprehension disappeared and I knew we had made the right choice. They were clearly relaxed and happy. My youngest cat in particular took a real shine to Mira and was besotted with her.
I cannot recommend Mira more highly, she absolutely deserves the 5 stars we have given her. She clearly has an affinity with cats. We will definitely have her come again.

"This was our first time leaving our doggos and bird with a sitter and we are so glad we found Johana and Fer! I was really anxious but we received lovely updates in messages, photos and a great video for reassurance. They really listened to our focus areas and attention to detail about their food, play and sleeping and were very accommodating. You can tell they really cared as our dogs were so settled when we got home. The house was in perfect condition with sheets washed and house vacuumed (which with a shedding Shar-Pei is a whole job!). "Above and beyond care of the needs of all pets and careful consideration for providing updates to me daily with lovely photos of each pet and house/ garden.
This was a more complex pet sit with a Cockatoo transitioning into family life.
I don’t think many pet sitters could provide the maturity and sensitivity to the unique requirements that Jean brought with her experience. Jean was extremely thoughtful in how she managed our Cockatoo whilst also caring for our beloved Kitty cat, chickens and Axolotyl.
If I could rate higher I would. Highly recommend and consider myself very lucky to have Jean look after our house and pets. Huge thank you!! "

"We had Leah pet sit our two staffies at our house for 11 nights while we were away.
first time we had used a pet sitter rather than kennels and I can say we won't be going back to kennels. It was so great to find Leah on Pawshake. Great communication, great with animals, and we could tell straight away by the way our dogs greeted her that she would be a great fit.
our dogs got to stay in their own environment and we came home to two happy, waggy-tails.

"Meredith is a gem!
She stayed at our house for the weekend and looked after our cat and our dog with such care. Our pooch can be very lead reactive around other dogs, so I do get anxious when people unfamiliar to him take him for walks. However Meredith was more than happy to take him for his daily exercise, and they ended up having a very successful walk together. She sent me updates throughout her stay which we always love.
When we got home Meredith had even changed and washed the sheets on the bed.
Will absolutely be booking with Meredith again and couldn’t recommend her enough "

"Gabby was easy to communicate with and very friendly from start to finish. We were very comfortable leaving her in charge of our house and 6yo Greyhound for 17 nights when we went on holidays.
