"Lavina was absolutely amazing. Woody, who was recently rescued needed some company for an event we couldnât get out of and Lavina was able to help at really short notice. Lavina arrived on time during a very busy period and immediately settled in with Woody and gave him great company. We will definitely be asking Lavina to help again as she has an amazing way with dogs. Woody is a little nervous by nature was totally at ease and we were able to leave the house with no worries at all. Lavina you are a superstar!! Thank you so much. "

"Amelia was fantastic from initial communication and throughout our 5 night booking for housesitting. She took wonderful care of our cat Brian, including managing his specific dietary requirements and medication. We received regular updates including photos, which gave us peace of mind while away. We returned home to a happy, relaxed cat and a tidy house. We would highly recommend Amelia and will definitely be booking her again!"

"I would wholeheartedly recommend Bianca for dog walking or house sitting. She looked after our cattle dog cross for three weeks with love and kindness and we couldnât be happier. Bianca sent us photos and videos so we knew Banjo was having a great time while we were away. She also left the house spotless so we felt relaxed and confident that she had everything under control. I will definitely book Bianca again- if she is available!"

"Olivia is brilliant. Far and away the best pet sitter/ house sitter I have ever had over 20 years of pet ownership and travel. She is responsive, flexible and wonderful with the animals- dogs and cats. She is not put off by dealing with a bit of boisterous energy. I came back to happy pets, a clean house and, as a bonus, my lawn mowed! I cannot recommend her highly enough. Thanks, Olivia!"

"It was such a relief knowing that our pets were in good hands with Sofia and Francesco. They took really good care of our cats as well as our home. They were very communicative and regularly sent photos so we could see how the cats were doing. The cats were very happy and relaxed with them. I wouldn't hesitate to ask them to pet sit for us again in the future. Sofi and Fran are a very respectful and considerate couple, thank you for taking such good care of our fur babies!"

"Margaret was the perfect pet sitter when we went away for the weekend. She took special cared for our dog who was recovering from an operation - cooking her special meals which was really appreciated. Margaret was a great communicator and kept us in the loop as to how our dog and cat were going while we were away. Our house was left perfectly clean and tidy. Margaret is very trustworthy and I would have no hesitation in recommending her.

"Sabrina and Nicolas are amazing!!! I highly recommend them. If you want hassle free pet sitters then look now further you have found them. They have been wonderful housesitters for me on a number of occasions of varying lengths. They have looked after my elderly cat, younger cat and highly anxious dog with ease. I know that when I am away and they are looking after my home and fur babies, everything will be well looked after. Sabrina gives me regular updates and my fur babies are at ease. I always come home to my home as I left it and my fur babies have been loved and well taken care of. "

"Lynn was absolutely amazing with Teddy over New Year. Knowing how frightened he is of fireworks, she truly went above and beyond to make sure he felt safe, calm, and loved. She showed so much patience, care, and understanding, and it was clear Teddy was in the best hands possible. She sent daily photos and updates. I had complete peace of mind knowing she was there for him, and I honestly couldnât have asked for better care. Lynn is kind, reliable, and genuinely cares about the animals she looks after. I would highly recommend her to anyone and wouldnât hesitate to book her again. Moving forward she will be Teddyâs only dog sitter. Thank you so much, Lynn!"

"Without hesitation, I enthusiastically recommend Michael and Melanie as fantastic pet and house sitters.
Michael recently cared for our 3 large dogs and 7 fish, and Melanie joined him for a couple of days as well. From our initial FaceTime call up through our follow up messages once the sit was finished, they were lovely and kind and very professional.
Traveling during COVID is not easy or predictable, and Michael was willing to be flexible with our arrangements in the event of unforeseen circumstances. If not for his generosity in this regard, weâd have likely canceled our trip. Instead, we were able to have a wonderful holiday with complete trust leaving our animals in their capable hands. Three large dogs are never an easy job, and on top of that, our youngest dog was acclimating to a new anxiety medication, the timing of which meant Michael had to help her through the worst adjustment period, and he did so with patience and understanding.
Michael and Melanie sent pictures and updates regularly, and we came home to a pristine house and happy dogs and fish.
I can honestly say that our experience was as close to a perfect sit as is possible, and I only hope that they would be willing to stay with our animals again in the future. "

Why house sitting ?
Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and itâs not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Davidson NSW home while you are away.
House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Davidson NSW.
At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So weâve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.
The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Davidson NSW home is also being looked after as well.
In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.
