Hello! Welcome to Pawshake! My name is Nethmi and I’m 18 years old. I am a citizen of Sri Lanka and recently moved here to Australia recently. I live in Camphill suburb, Queensland and is undertaking my studies as a veterinary student at the University of Queensland starting in 2024 February. I provide my customers the best services in pet sitting at their own house (24 hours, 1/2 visits) and offer pet boarding (24 hour supervision) as well. I am flexible with my customers time preferences for my services. My house is fully secured and is protected my fences and gates and also is known as a safe neighbourhood. I provide dog walking services (10-60 minutes) as well as ensuring pet transport such as picking up and dropping. I am able to board upto 4 pets at the same time. I offer upto 4 dog walks per day. I confirm that I have lived my entire life surrounded by animals which are not limited to dogs and cats and seem to honestly make more meaningful bonds than I make with people. For my work experience, I have experience working at a veterinary hospital for a year and gained much knowledge regarding treatments and handling emergencies if required. I have experience on treatment and is educated on the correct medication if not present by a doctor (I can only proceed with legal treatments to do without professional supervision) . We are a young couple who love animals and want to share the love with your babies while you are away. With 3 cats and a pug x French bulldog puppy of my own, I am no stranger to a wild household and am confident that I can keep your fur babies content. I have experience with large and small dogs, cats, lizards, ducks and chickens. I have frequently pet sat on and off for years and have experience administering oral and needle medications. I am also happy to water the plants and do any general house upkeep jobs while you are away to keep your home in order. I work from home 2-3 days per week and we have a large 4 bedroom home with an enclosed yard. At this time we can only accept small-medium dogs. We can accommodate special needs for your animals, just let us know what is required when you message. 


I will take care of the dogs as if they were my own, go for a walk 3 times a day, they will sleep inside the house and be pampered.

H I am the kind of animal lover who has.loved all animals since I was a young child. From childhood, I have always had a love for and fascination with gods.
I rescued my first own dog when I was 15, but before that I had had two dogs and two cats. I have not had the opportunity to have a dog here due to my current situation and that is why I would love to be able to give love to yours, and hoping to one day have my own here.

Hi there,. I would love to assist with your dog walking/ sitting requirement.
I have completed a puppy raising program for 9 months for Guide Dogs Australia which I really enjoyed. I raised a black labrador named Fergus. The program included walking him, toilet training, feeding, introducing him to every day life as much as possible, taking him to training twice a month. I have now given Fergus back and would like to assist others with dog walks/ sitting as I love dogs and this was a very rewarding experience for me.
I love dogs. I have grown up with big dogs (German Shepherds and Alaskan Malamutes), and don't have a preference for dog sizes. I would walk my dogs for an hour everyday. I work 8 hours a day from home and the office during the week, so could be flexible with days.
I live in an apartment, pet friendly with a balcony.
The dogs can sleep on my couch or in their own beds. I walk the dogs in the morning and after work, will also take them out to toilet multiple times a day.

I have worked at Mad Dogs for nearly 2 years here in Brisbane! Here I would carry my duties if a Professional dog walking providing safe reliable transport to and from the dog parks. Responsible for providing a safe environment for groups of 4 for all the dogs to play, socialise and relax through interaction and stimulation. Continually monitor behaviour by understanding the dogs body language. Develop and maintain excellence customer service with all clients, build bonds with each dog, follow safety procedures + professional dog photography.
I have also had the pleasure of working for Paws Darwin here My duties include Assistance of care for several rescue animals, feeding, cleaning, redesigning pet rooms, construction of large outdoor cages, assistance in vets operating room etc. During my time with the shelter, I worked dedicatedly and efficiently to ensure a high standard of care for all of the animals, who were awaiting foster care or adoption. My primary responsibilities included cleaning the cages of the animals and personally walking and handling those with challenging behaviours. I felt a real sense of reward when I saw changes in these dogs and their characteristics, largely down to my influence. I was also involved in a large scale reconstruction of the outdoor shelter, building large play areas and assembling spacious cages to improve the housing of the animals.
I have also lived and worked at animal sanctuaries and shelters during my time in Australia, and have massive empathy for any animals not just doggies! I am clean, tidy and respectful to any wishes of the dog owner. happy to help &amp; have the animal company! 
I can also provide a resume and police check for your security. I would need to sit for the dogs at your home as I am currently residing in a shared property. During a house sit/over night stays my primary focus is too care and keep your pups company. So i will be present for the remainder of the time specified by the client unless i need to nip out for Erins.

We love spending time with dogs, taking them for walks, throwing them ball, having a kick around with the soccer ball (my 10yo is soccer mad!) and providing plenty of cuddles and attention.
My 17yo Australian Terrier, Max, passed earlier this year, leaving a big hole in our family. I currently regularly travel interstate for work, so I'm not in a position to provide a full-time home for a doggy, but we would love to care for your pet when I am home (available dates are provided in my calendar).
I work full-time, but WFH at least two days a week. Weekends we spend time at the park, going for picnics and walks, we love being by the water so reguarly go to Manly Foreshore, Redcliffe, Hamilton and Nudgee.
Our fully-fenced back yard opens up onto two large playing fields, with an off-leash dog park by the water less than a 10-minute stroll away.
We can only take fully vaccinated and wormed small to medium dogs into our home.&nbsp;
INFORMATION FOR DOGS STAYING IN OUR HOME:
I live with my 10 year old son, I am a single mother in my mid 30s. We currently do not have any other pets and will care for one (or multiple from the same home) small to medium sized dogs at a time.&nbsp;
We welcome friendly, fully vaccinated and wormed dogs, that love cuddles, playing, who are toilet trained, walk well on a leash and are friendly with other dogs while out and about.
We live in a townhouse in a quiet surburban complex, have a fully-fenced back yard with covered entertainment area.&nbsp;
STAYING OVERNIGHT:
Your dog will sleep in our kitchen (see photo) with the fan on in summer and a heater in winter. There will be a baby gate placed across the doorway, so they cannot access the lounge room or venture upstairs at night.
If you would prefer your dog to sleep in their crate, we can accommodate this.&nbsp;
WHEN I AM AT WORK OR NOT HOME:
Your dog will have access to the back yard and the kitchen, via a doggy door (medium size). There is an outdoor kennel provided, or they can bring their own outdoor bed. There will be a baby gate placed across the doorway, so they cannot access the lounge room or venture upstairs.
There will be a fan provided, I can leave a radio on if required and there is a security camera to check up on them, if I am in the office during the day. 
For mid-week stays, your dog must be ok with being left at home alone during the day. When I am working from home there still activites such as school drop off/pick up I need to do, so I cannot care for dogs that bark and suffer from separation anxiety as it puts me at risk of noise complaints from my neighbours.
WHEN I AM HOME:
Your dog will have access to the lounge room, fuly-fenced back yard and covered entertainment area. I am happy for them to have cuddles with us on the lounge if that's what you do at your own home. I can place their bed in the kitchen or lounge room too, so your pet is with us.&nbsp;
When I am working from home, I will be at my desk in the lounge room, I usually move their bed to closeby me, to keep us both company :)
