While I'm a first time pet sitter, I am motivated carer to ensure that your fur babies experience a safe and positive environment. 
Although I don't have prior experience I have pet sat for close family members and friends frequently which all were positive experiences hence, why I have decided become a pet sitter to further enhance my personal growth as well as my fur baby to have more company and share his love and playfulness. 
However, most importantly that your pet has an enjoyable time in my home, going for walks with my own fur baby and plenty of play time, in the outdoor area of my home. 
There will be 2 adults in the household myself as well as my partner who also loves dogs we will be playing with the dogs with plenty of rests in between. 
Preferably vaccinated dogs, small - medium dogs but willing to take large dogs depending on how well our fur baby gets along. If allowed we would like to take the fur babies on a car ride to the dog park. 
Plenty of pictures will be sent to you to show that your fur baby is having a great time as well as a report card. 
Services I offer: 
I am only available to take 1 pet per boarding but is open to taking an extra pet if they are together. 
I am able to help pets take their medication, I do not professionally offer training or grooming of pets however, I do offer enrichment play and basic brushing based on pet requirement. 
Dog walks usually last around 30mins - 1hr. I generally offer 2 walks per day, or if the parent is comfortable dog parks are also available for pets to be taken to enjoy some fresh air. Disclaimer: they will be transported with a safe back seat cover with seatbelts attached. 
How much time do I spend with pets: 
I am only available Friday - Sunday and I would like to supervise pets at all hours of the day, pets would not be left alone. Pets are not required to spend the whole day with me, if you are going out with friends or family e.g dinner and feel pet guilt leaving them at home until you come home, I am happy to keep them company for a few hours if needed. I work on-site Monday - Friday, therefore I am unable to pet sit during the week. However, during school holidays I am able to open my calendar to 7 days a week. 
To ensure for optimum pet care, I would like to keep the same routine for the pets such as when they have their meals, when they usually go for walks so pets feel comfortable. A conversation with parents prior to pet sitting with requirements and dos and don'ts would be helpful to ensuring pets have a great time at my home. 
What is my home like? 
My home consists of me, my partner and my little fur baby Walter who will keep your pet occupied with friend. We do not allow pets to sleep outdoors so pets can sleep where they feel safe and comfortable within the home. 
Our backyard is a reasonable size for pets to run around, it is fully fenced with a gate and all gaps are secured. There is plenty of grass for the pets to enjoy.

Medical &amp; senior care:– IVDD, arthritis, and other mobility issues requiring adapted routines, lifting support, or mobility awareness – Daily medication such as ear drops, eye drops, joint supplements, pain management, and other ongoing treatments – Senior dogs and senior cats needing slower routines, gentle handling, extra bathroom breaks, and calm companionship – Chronically ill pets requiring observation, routine consistency, and sensitive care – Supporting pets through unexpected health declines (including assisting with a home vet visit and following vet guidance calmly and responsibly, providing sling-walk support when needed)
Reactive &amp; anxious dogs:– Dogs with leash reactivity, anxiety around other dogs, noise sensitivity, or strong trigger responses– We support these dogs with calm, confident energy, maintain safe distances, follow structured walking routines, and help them feel secure without pressure or overstimulation– We adapt to each dog’s temperament — whether energetic, anxious, reactive, shy, sensitive, or deeply affectionate
Other animals:Chickens, fish, Mongolian gerbils, parrots, and even hand-feeding wild kookaburras.
A few years ago, before coming to Australia, we travelled around Europe through Workaway, caring for dogs, cats, horses, goats, chickens, and rural properties.We both grew up in animal-loving households, Kaja with cats and parrots, and Rebeka with cats, a Siberian Husky, mix breed dogs, gerbils, fish, and stick insects, so caring for animals has always been part of our everyday lives.
 House Sitting &amp; Property Care
We take home care as seriously as pet care. We are tidy, organised, and respectful sitters who naturally maintain a clean and calm home environment. Over the past 10 years of living together, we’ve rented multiple homes and always kept them clean and well-maintained.
Through Workaway and house sitting, we’ve also cared for rural properties, helped with gardening, basic maintenance, and keeping both indoor and outdoor areas tidy. We are non-smokers.

Kaja has an MA in Cultural Studies and worked in marketing and sales before moving to Australia. Rebeka has a BSc in Biology and over four years of experience working in the pharmaceutical industry. Dear Pet Owners!This is Cansu. I am 33 years old.I love animals. I have a rescued cat who lives in Turkey with my parents in my absence. Before then my cat, I also had rescued a dog who was abandoned on a street. I looked after her until I found a good family to adopt her. In Australia, I worked on a dairy farm so I had chance to send lots of time with farm animals; cows, calves, sheep  dogs and cats... Also while I was working as au-pair I looked after my host family's cat for 6 months. So, petsitting is good match with my situation as I love being around animals and as it is hard to have my own pet in a foreign country at the moment.I prefer petsit in pets owners house when they travel for short or long time. This also help me about exploring new places.I can also do daily dog walking, cat/dog day sitting and so on. Hi, I'm Richard. I'm new to pawshake and looking forward to helping out owners that need their pet walked, fed or checked up on while they are busy. Having grown up with dogs, cats, chickens, rats and a duck, I am super comfortable when taking care of animals. I have over the years cared for many of my friends and relatives pets while they've been away and always enjoyed the experience.
I live in Broadmeadows and my area of service includes surrounding suburbs (happy to drive further if required). My times are flexible as I am currently studying from home. I have one senior cat named Alobar.
For house visits I will attend to all the standard food, and litter requirements as well as spending quality one-on-one time with your pet. I am flexible and open to whatever needs your pet may require / also happy to water any plants or take in the mail etc. Above all, I enjoy hanging out with pets and will send you photo / video updates of our shenanigans.
