Sometimes life can get really busy and you might find yourself a little short on time to walk your dog. Luckily with Pawshake, it is really easy to connect with thousands of pet lovers and find a walker in Waitara NSW who is available and waiting to help you out.

All of our walkers are vetted individually and every dog walker booking is covered by The Pawshake Guarantee so you can rest easy while they spend time with your dog. Additionally, your Pawshake walker will be from your local Waitara NSW neighbourhood and their profile also includes reviews from other pet parents.

Having a dog walker visit during the day is an affordable and great way to break up the day and make your dog’s day more interesting. Some of our walkers walk multiple dogs at once so this service is a great way for your dog to socialise and meet other similar dogs. However, if your dog prefers to be walked alone, you can also find Waitara NSW dog walkers who only walk one dog at a time. That way, the walks can be completely dedicated to what your dogs want – whether is a slow walk-and-sniff or a faster paced brisk walk around the block, our Pawshake dog walkers will be happy to oblige.

I'm a reliable and flexible pet sitter who will give your furry babies lots of love and cuddles. I have been working as a pet sitter for more than 3 years now, so I have experience with small to big dogs, cats, and occasionally birds as well. I'm motivate by the love I have to spend time with these loving creatures and I'll make sure they are happy and comfortable while you're gone. What I offer:
- House visits ($35 each, 30 min max) - need a quick check on your pets, cleaning and refilling supplies, chose this.
- Walks ($35 per walk/up to 2 dogs)
- Day care ($120 up to 8h during the day)
- Overnight sitting ($100)
The day care and overnight is on the pets house, so they won't have to go through an abrupt change of environment in case you need to go away. I can also tailor my services to your needs, so hit me up if you have any questions or requests.
Thank you!

Hello! My name is Aysha, and I live on Sydney's north shore. I've always been around dogs and cats growing up, with three dogs at my grandparents' place, a dog & cat at my mum's, and a cat at my dad's. I work as a freelance creative, which means my days don't adhere to a regular 9-5 working week structure. If you're looking for someone who can pop in during the day, cuddle with and feed your pets, and take your dog for a walk - I'm your gal! To me, there's no joy quite like hanging out with our pets.
Our cats (Max and George respectively - stellar names I know) are grumpy as ever but secretly cuddly at heart. Lolly our dog sadly passed a few years ago, and she was always very shy and gentle. I really miss having a dog around, and would eagerly jump at any opportunity to care for one again. I can promise lots of love and enthusiasm, play time, rest time, and cleaning up after them of course. Even if you just need someone to hang out for the day and keep them company, I'd be delighted!
Growing up with pets (not just dogs and cats, but fish as well - a real all-rounder I'll say) means I'm super comfortable around them, and am flexible and able to adjust to their needs and requirements. I'm a fast learner, have great attention to detail, and lots of energy when it comes to play time.
I look forward to getting to know your animals, and making sure they feel as comfortable and loved as possible.
:)

Hi, and thank you for considering me to care for your beloved pets and home. I offer a calm, attentive, and highly reliable pet and home-sitting service tailored to owners who value exceptional, detail-oriented care. As a Registered Nurse, responsibility, cleanliness, and trust are at the core of everything I do, and I bring that same standard into caring for your pets and your home.
My care routine is always guided entirely by your personal preferences and your pet’s established lifestyle. I carefully follow your exact instructions regarding feeding schedules, exercise routines, training methods, grooming, medications, sleeping arrangements, and household expectations. Whether your pet thrives on structured routines, gentle companionship, or high-energy activity, I adapt seamlessly to maintain their comfort, stability, and happiness. I am highly attentive to subtle behavioural or health changes and will communicate promptly if anything arises.
I provide attentive, loving care for dogs, cats, and puppies, including pets with special requirements or those needing extra reassurance.
For dogs, I offer structured walks, play, companionship, and calm, consistent care aligned with your routine. For cats, I respect their unique personalities — whether independent or affectionate — ensuring clean litter maintenance, gentle engagement, and a peaceful, secure environment. For puppies, I provide patient, nurturing care including routine reinforcement, toilet schedule support, gentle training consistency, supervision, and plenty of comfort and reassurance during their important developmental stage.
I provide thoughtful, consistent updates with photos and messages for your peace of mind, and I respect privacy, discretion, and the standards expected within a well-kept home. I am comfortable caring for senior pets, administering medications if required, and supporting pets who may feel anxious while you are away.
My home offers a secure grassy outdoor space suitable for supervised play and exercise, and I maintain a clean, calm, and safe environment at all times. I am equally comfortable caring for pets within their own home and can assist with maintaining household order, light cleaning, plant care, mail collection, and overall home presence while you are away. I am happy to travel a reasonable distance for pick-ups, home stays, or extended care arrangements.
I have loved animals all my life and have extensive experience caring for dogs and cats of various breeds, temperaments, and needs. My goal is to provide a seamless, stress-free experience where your pets feel secure, nurtured, and cared for to the highest standard, and your home is treated with the utmost respect and attention.
Thank you for your time — I would be honoured to care for your pets.

I’m a genuine animal lover with a special soft spot for rescue animals. Caring for pets isn’t just something I do—it’s a big part of who I am. At home, I have a beautiful rescue greyhound and three much-loved cats, all with their own unique personalities. Having adopted and cared for rescue animals, I understand how important patience, routine, and trust are in helping pets feel safe and happy.
My Experience
I have hands-on, everyday experience with:
Rescue dogs (especially breeds like greyhounds) and labradors
Cats with different temperaments and needs
Managing feeding routines, walks, enrichment, and comfort care
Reading animal behaviour and responding calmly and confidently
I have a keen interest in advocacy for animals and vulnerable individuals. I have been a teacher for over 30 years. As such, I am conscious of the importance of regular and timely communication with parents and use a range of platforms to ensure constant updates whilst you are away.
Why Choose Me?
Because I truly get animals, especially rescues. I know they’re not “just pets,” they’re family. I am reliable, kind and protective of animals. I have a CPR qualification and senior first aid. Very committed to your pet's wellbeing. Love walking and happy to take dogs to a nearby dog-park. Very good at assessing risk and risk management is a top priority.

Only available in these areas: Thornleigh, Normanhurst, Westleigh, Waitara, Wahroonga, Hornsby, or 5km around Thornleigh. I can walk them either to the nearest park, or around where you live. I usually do a 30 minute to 45 minute walk with most dogs.
I love dogs and cats! I've taken care a few of them before, and I am ready to help you take care of yours! I'm a software engineer in my 30s. I work in Sydney CBD and from home, and available for walking some evenings after 5pm (if you need earlier times, I can accomodate depending on the days). I may be available on some weekends, please enquire.
Please do let me know your pet preference and what I should and should not do with your pets.
Your cats and dogs will be in good care with me. I’ll give them my full attention, and I will come to take care of the pet by myself.

About Us:
When we say "we," we’re referring to my husband, Alejandro, and me (Daniella). Alejandro has grown up with dogs and has always had at least two at a time. He’s great at managing multiple dogs at once. I’ve also been taking care of dogs of all types and sizes with my parents back in the U.S.
We both love animals, and since we don’t have our own dog yet, we enjoy just sitting at the dog park to watch the pups play. If we’re lucky, one will come say hello, and it always makes us smile.
We treat every dog like family, and we want them to feel like they’re part of our pack while they’re with us.
What We Ask:
Your dog should be people-friendly and well-trained. Honest communication is key so we can understand your pup’s needs and make them feel at home.
We promise to love them like our own furry baby.

Our Home:
We live in an apartment with plenty of space and green areas. We know it can be stressful for dogs to adjust to a new place, so we’ll make sure they get lots of cuddles, walks, treats, and attention. We’ll also stick to their schedule as best we can.

Things to Bring for Day Care or Overnight Stays:

Sleeping items (bed, crate, blanket, etc.)
Leash, collar, or harness
Food and bowls
Food schedule
Potty pads (if needed)
Medication (if needed)
Poop baggies
Favorite toys
Favorite treats

This will help your dog feel more comfortable. We’ll also send you daily updates so you’re always in the loop.

Pick-Up/Drop-Off Info:

For overnight stays, please pick up your dog around the same time they were dropped off (e.g., 10 AM Saturday drop-off, 10 AM Sunday pick-up).
If you need to pick up your dog at a different time, there will be a small additional fee.

Important Notes:

We only take care of up to two dogs at a time, unless we’ve discussed otherwise.
If we care for two dogs, they must be from the same family (siblings) or get along with the other dogs.

We don't offer dog training, so we ask that your dog is already trained.

A Meet and Greet is a must for your peace of mind and ours.

Holiday Surcharge:
There’s a 20% surcharge during holidays.

I'm a retired professional who has owned dogs most of my life (from a 45kg groodle to 7kg Cavalier King Charles Spaniels). Our 13yo giant groodle passed away a few months ago and we aren't ready to adopt another but very much enjoy caring for others' beloved pets, giving them the attention and love they deserve on their ‘holiday’!
My family includes two children, 11 and 13 years old, who love animals and are very used to dogs particularly, and we live in a house with a secure/fenced backyard.
I am home most of the time and can give them the attention they deserve. they will usually not be left alone for more than an hour or two at most, and will have at least two walks a day of 30-60 minute duration, dependent on weather/heat etc.
I enjoy walking and aside from exploring the neighbourhood streets, we also have two dog parks within a block or two if your dog enjoys socialising with other and/or running off-leash in a secure, enclosed large oval. If they travel well in the car I am also very happy to take them to dog-friendly bays such as Bayview or Clontarf, but only letting them off-leash if they reliably return of course.
I am comfortable administering medication to dogs, and they can sleep either inside or outside dependent on their usual routine. We have had small dogs sleep on our beds also if that's the usual for them.
I will look after one family's dog/s at a time only. (Up to 3 dogs at one time but only if they all normally live together)
For just dog walking, my rate is for 1h of walking.
Please free to message me if any questions.

I have always loved animals, and being around them brings me a lot of joy. Growing up, I did not have the opportunity to have a pet of my own, but my love for animals began when I visited my grandparents, who had pets at home. Spending time with them made me realise how special the bond between people and their pets can be. Even after I moved away from my grandparents, that love never faded—in fact, it grew stronger as I got older.
As I began travelling more and going on hikes and walks, I found myself interacting with dogs from all over the world. Every dog had its own unique personality, and these experiences made me appreciate even more how important it is for pets to feel safe, happy, and cared for. These moments inspired me to become a pet sitter so I could spend more time with animals while helping owners feel confident that their pets are in good hands.
My motivation for pet sitting comes from my genuine love for animals and the satisfaction of knowing I can support both pets and their owners. I understand that changes in routine can sometimes make pets feel anxious, so I always try to create a calm, friendly, and fun environment for them. Whether it is going on walks, playing, feeding them, or simply keeping them company, I enjoy spending quality time with animals and making sure they feel comfortable and loved.
I also have experience caring for pets for friends, neighbours, and family members. Through these experiences, I have learned the importance of patience, responsibility, and paying close attention to each pet’s individual needs. I am comfortable caring for dogs with different energy levels and personalities, and I always make sure they receive the exercise, attention, and care they deserve. Being a pet sitter allows me to combine my love for animals with helping others, which is something I truly enjoy.

I am an older lady, a retired creative arts teacher . I love travelling and being out in nature and delving into the mysteries of the wider Cosmos . I am an experienced and very well regarded pet sitter and mad keen animal lover. I work primarily as a live in sitter meaning I will come to your home and stay overnight to care for your pets while you are away . I normally undertake sits from a minimum of 3 days and up to 6 weeks.
I have been pet sitting now for close to three years and have clocked up some really wonderful 5 star reviews via agencies I worked through prior to joining Pawshake I dont currently own any pets myself and love the opportunity pet sitting affords me to spend quality time with other people's fur babies . I see my role as a doting visiting aunt ... lots of fun and cuddles walks if required and spoiling and often find it hard to say goodbye to the fur babies I mind . I find the more sits I have done the more I have really come to respect and appreciate the unconditional love and joy animals have to share and its usually a wrench having to say goodbye at the end of a sit .I really appeciate too the knowlege and insights into all the different breeds of dogs and cats pet sitting has afforded me I've come to learn many little known facts about the different breeds Eg did you know Poodles used to be used as police dogs in France ? Huskies can defiantely be the houdinis of he dog world,Border Collies love to round you up and Staffies I've discovered can have the biggest of hearts to match their wide wide smiles .
I particularly love to walk the doggies I mind and especially love the dog park experience . I find it a really fun and very sociable part of a sit .Love watching the dogs socializing and often find other pet friendly nice people to chat to at the dog park.
I usually pack a creative project in my suitcase when off to a sit such as a writing or illustration project I have been working on writing and illustrating and self publishing a second childrens book as my latest project
I find it works well to have a creative project to work on whilst spending quality time chilling with the pets I mind in their own home . I feel priveleged and blessed to have had the lovely opportunites to spend quality time caring for and enjoying the company of the pets I have minded over the last few years .
Apart from taking care of cats and dogs of many different breeds and ages I have had quite a bit of experience minding chickens .I once minded a chook house with 50 bossy chickens who were very enamoured of the applique flowers on my leather sandles and went for my feet everytime I entered their domain .It was soemwhat terrifying but I lived to tell the tale and I am pleased to report the only critter ever to have sheafed its mortal coil while on my watch was a little hermit crab .I came downstairs one morning to find its e shell floating upside down and its little legs pointing skywards . Cause of death unknown It was very sad . However other than than I'm very pleased to report overall very positive experiences of handing back to their owners relaxed happy pets and a sparkling clean home at the end of each sit. Thankyou
