I stopped for a while to focus on university and work but my work schedule has changed and I now have more availability. I'm 25 years old and study mechanical engineering while working part time. I work at a pet boarding facility and have done for 7 years now and have loved every minute! People always ask me if I just get to cuddle animals all day at work and while that isn't 100% of my day it does take up a big portion so I am essentially a professional pet cuddler! I care for both the cats and doggos at my job and I am very confident and comfortable caring for cats and dogs of all sizes and breeds. Hey there, I'm Rosie! I've recently graduated from St Peters Lutheran College, turned 18, and am excited to discover an active and enjoyable way to earn some extra cash while making furry friends :) My sidekick (andlittle brother) is Bozzley, the border collie, and he is 12. It is my job to walk him everyday and we love going on little adventures together.&nbsp;
This year, I'll be studying full-time at UQ and am eager to provide flexible dog walking, sitting, and visiting services in my suburb, Chelmer, as well as surrounding suburbs like Graceville, Sherwood, Indooroopilly etc.  Regarding my availability, I am available on a Monday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday with occasional availability on Tuesdays, Thursday and Fridays when I am not at Uni.  &nbsp;
For dogwalking services, my walks range can range from 20 minutes for older pups or hot days to over an hour if your pet has lots of energy - I like to know what you and your pet is comfortable with and will stick to that. For services like visiting and sitting, I always like to go a walk with them, whether its long or short I think its important to get them moving or playing. Specifically for visits, I usually like to stay with pets for 30 minutes - 1 hour (can be longer if required) and during this time I will give your pet some tender loving care, water will be refilled, food can be given, messes will be cleaned up and I can even water plants if required. I am also able to administer medication if needed, I just ask for some instructions and things to be aware of before doing so. For sitting services, I can stay in the house for as long as required and will always stay vigilant with home security measures like not answering the door to stranger, keeping doors/windows and other openings locked (especially for overnight bookings), alarm systems and security cameras if required.
I want to put pet parents' minds at ease, treating homes with respect as well as sending text, photo and video updates and providing post-care follow-ups with notes on behaviours, moods, activities, and more.&nbsp;
In case you're wondering, I have previous experience in pet sitting, having looked after Millie, an adorable 6-year-old beagle, overnight for a family friend. I'm a 35 yr old nutritionist and mama of one, fortunate enough to call pets my primary source of work. Needless to say I have plenty of free time and attention to lavish upon furry friends. I’m super peaceful, respectful and animals are my absolute priority.
 
 To say I am an animal lover is a huge understatement. I will love your pawed (or winged, Gilles etc.) as my own and have a smile on my face all the while. I'm super warm and open and am very comfortable with any kind of pre-sitting interrogation (it's your baby after all). My childhood involved pretty much every domesticated (and some not) pet imaginable, so you can rest assured your beloved will be in good hands. 
 
I have been pet sitting for more than a decade and have a wealth of experience administering medication, dealing with emergency vet visits, acute and chronic anxiety disorders as well as a host of other idiosyncrasies. I’ve tended to my own and others’ horses as well as goats, pigs and sheep. I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty and pride myself on my ability to build strong relationships with even the least social animals. 
 
 I’m open to house/ pet sitting in whatever capacity suits you best. I am currently free of gainful employment and can devote my day to your pet. When house sitting I'm typically home for 10 hours of the day with occasional trips out rarely being more than an hour, making me a great choice for anxious lil pals.
 Dog walking/ minding/ socialising is also my forte and I’m open to casual visits or a more regular basis. My dog walks are lengthy, engaged and tailored to your puppas needs. My walks range from an hour to two hours, pooch fitness pending. My home visits can be a decent couple of hrs hang if that best suits. I’m really flexible as I'm not working this year so I'm available morning, afternoon and night and generally just open to doing what it takes for your lil pal.

Wow it has been awhile since I have been on pawshake, I stepped aside from this account but I am back. I had a really good reputation in my last neighbourhood and I want to do the same in my new area.&nbsp;
A lot has change. my beloved dogs Bro and Angie who is shown in the photos have now passed. Angie who I met on Pawshake, her last owner was going to take her into the pound. however I rescued her, she sadly past last year from Cancer and Bro who was raised throughout my childhood has sadly past this year from old age.&nbsp;
Aside from my beloved dogs, I have a son who is 1 years old, we live in Hope Island, apartment living and I run my own online business from home and have two pop up markets in Gold Coast and in Brisbane. My business launched mid this year and it has been steady.&nbsp;
I have returned to helping owners with their furry legs for obvious reasons extra stream of income and because I have a lot of love for dogs. My son loves dogs and with apartment living having a dog of our own is too challenging.&nbsp;

Is it just me? Or do you agree that animals are the easiest creatures to get along with. The one thing that attracted me to this profession is the unconditional abundance of love they always give us regardless of how we treat them. For this I am grateful!
I was previously a pet sitter in 2016 while I was studying to become a veterinarian. However, I had to take a couple of years off due to a major hurdle in my life. I graduated as a veterinarian Dec 2021 :) 
Growing up in India, I was surrounded by ￼dogs, cats, fishes, a parrot and a friendly garden snake. I am not an expert but have abundance of practical experience. Sadly most have passed due to age but currently I have 2 dogs and 1 cat.
It's always hard to go home and then leave because it always involves saying good bye to your fur babies. As my current situation does not allow me to have dogs or cats at my residence this is my way of getting some fur love. Because of this situation I am more than willing to house and pet sit :) 
The services I provide include spending time with your pooch and taking care of their needs such as walking, feeding etc while you are away!
