I am an animal lover who is absolutely dog obsessed; I am the type of person that needs to say hi and pat all of the dogs I pass by on the street. 
Since a young age I have always had a dog and other pets in my life before moving to Australia and since I unfortunately don't have any pets of my own at this moment I love to spend time with other people's pets. 
Despite being new to Pawshake I have been pet sitting and dog walking for over 8 years. With all of this experience I have gained the skills to adapt to each animals individual needs to ensure that they feel safe and loved during their times with me. 
I'm also a very active person and like to keep fit so I love having some company on my walks. 
I have moved to Canberra about 8 months ago for a change of scenery and at this stage I am offering pet sitting in the pet's home, dog walking and daily home visits to keep your pets happy while you're away. I know how hard it is to go away without your pets so I always make sure to update owners with pics of their happy fur friend while they're in my care.

I am very much so, an animal lover, whether it's a big dog or small, kitty cat, reptile, rodent or even those unique friends we hold close to our hearts, (talking to you spider and scorpion owners!) As pets light up our life I want to make sure when you're away they get the love they deserve!I have had 2 dogs at once which I walked, washed and played with everyday! There names were Yoda, the Frenchie/Wise One and Duke, the Cavazoo/King Of Wafflton. I have a Central Bearded Dragon named Tigger, who I am fully responsible for, from feeding, washing, cleaning her enclosure, and buying her food. Let's not forget all those fun adventures I have with her in our apartment's courtyard and the costumes I create for her! My brother owns 2 very cute rats, Lily and Bicky, when he is away I care for them and give them very yummy and nutritious meals. I also have more experience then most reptile owners as I have volunteered at Canberra Reptile Zoo in Nicholls, earning me Costumer Services skills and key reptilian knowledge. I also had to learn a lot of random facts to tell the parties of little kids.If you can't tell already I have a passion for pets, learning as much about them and treating them perfectly. I want to walk your pets as I absolutely love exploring new paths, (metaphorically and literally,) making the most of the day and I know the best doggy lakes, dog parks and relaxing routes for your furry friend! As I am experienced in pet care from my family, I am ready to visit your pet everyday when you are away. I can easily treat your pet with respect, care and make sure you don't have to worry when you're on holiday.

We’re a couple who truly love dogs and share our home with Milo, our very friendly 4-year-old dachshund. Milo is very social and enjoys having dog friends around, so visiting dogs usually settle in quickly with him.

One of us works mornings and the other afternoons, so your dog would rarely be alone for more than about an hour. Most of the time they’ll have company from us or from Milo, and we make sure they feel safe, relaxed and part of the home.

We treat our dog as a real member of the family, not just a pet, and we would care for your dog the same way. We know how hard it can be to leave them when you travel, so our goal is to give them a calm, loving place where they feel comfortable.

When a new dog arrives, we take time to introduce them slowly to Milo and allow them to explore the apartment at their own pace. We can provide daily walks, playtime, feeding routines, and lots of attention and cuddles. We’re also happy to follow any specific routines your dog is used to.

We live in a carpeted apartment, so we can only host small, well-trained dogs that are toilet trained and comfortable in an apartment environment.

Your dog will be treated like part of the family 

I've always loved animals and have looked after birds, dogs, cats and reptiles for myself and others. I'm highly diligent and I will always respect any special instructions you might have when it comes to looking after your pet. 
I'm a full-time teacher who has just moved from Sydney to Canberra. I would love to have the opportunity to meet new people through pet-visiting and walking. I'm also happy to send you photos of your pets during walks, so you can be sure your furry friend is in good hands. 
Availability
I generally get home (Tuggeranong) by 4:30pm on weekdays, and would be most happy to get started on any pet services right away. At this point I'm providing dog walking and home visits. 
Dog walking
My walks with your dog would be for 30mins, and my rates would reflect that. As I am in Greenway, I would mainly walk along Lake Tuggeranong, but I'm also open to suggestions, if you have a favourite spot. 
Home visits
During home visits, I would stay for 30mins. During this time, I'm happy to water the plants and bring in the mail. The rest of the time would be spent giving your pet company, whether it be light play (mainly cats) or pets. 
Exotic animal friendly
You may also see that I have a bearded dragon, Drogon. I'm confident and eager when it comes to feeding reptiles and tending to them. I had also administered injections and medication to my bearded dragon in the past. 




I love the outdoors, running, hiking, reading and being around or in water! but I love animals a lot more! Since childhood all I've ever known is being surrounded by animals! From day old puppies too senior dogs Ive always enjoyed having pets around and being in the company of animals. I always had 4 or more dogs running around so when I left home it was very odd! I moved to wales In 2021 and became a pet sitter along side my full time job as an Outdoor Instructor. This way I could still be around animals and help people out at the same time too! 
Back in the UK, I house &amp; pet sat many different times for many different people! I built a good repor with the owners and of course the pets too! I had some people who were returning owners which meant their animals had a familiar face they knew when their owners weren't around. I loved doing this for people, so wanted to see if I could do it over here too! No floof too big or too small! I'd be Adhering to all the owners wishes - on a leash/off a leash, long walks for the more energetic dog and shorter walks for the more senior of floofs, medication and feeding times etc.
