My name is Patricia and I had a dog called Scott. He lived for 17 years with me. He was my partner, my best friend and my baby. I also had a disabled cat, called Gato. I adopted him and gave him a live of love, care and security while he had FeLV. He lived with me for almost 2 years. They made me fall in love with animals, so I opened my business in Brazil to work with them and I loved it, working as a pet sitter, dog walker and dog trainer for almost 5 years. During those years, I took courses about behavior, education, and canine communication and language. I worked with dogs of different temperaments and all ages. I use positive reinforcement — a science-based method that rewards good behavior instead of punishing unwanted actions. This approach helps build trust and makes pets feel more comfortable and happy. Now I'm here, in Adelaide, to improve my English for while, and to learn more about animals, animal behaviour and dog training. With almost 5 years of experience in Brazil, I offer my dog walking and pet sitting services here.Walks are good for dogs because they allow them to see the world outside their home, make friends with other dogs and people, play and explore the world. In pet sitting services, I always interact, play, and give affection when they allow it. The visits include cleaning the pet's area, including the litter box, feeder, and waterer. I like to take lots of pictures of animals to show how well your pet is being cared for. If you’re looking for someone reliable and caring to look after your beloved pet while you’re away, please feel free to reach out to me. I’d love to help!

Whether it's swimming, playing fetch, reinforcing voice commands or a more sedate stroll that is required, Chris at Precious Pets provides what you require for your Best Friend.Chris respects life in its diversity and appreciates how needs change as we age. Chris will listen to you relating your friend's particular needs and idiosyncrasies so that he will be able to provide the care needed.Chris has broad experience with animals, having lived in both town and country. He is skilled in managing such matters as limited mobility, wounds, and special diets and is comfortable with administering IM injections. While attending your pet in their own home, Chris can also attend to some of the many minor domestic matters in your absence ranging from watering the fowls and garden to meal preparation. With Cefer Cat in charge of the domestic realm, pet hosting & day care options are limited to well-behaved, cat-friendly creatures.A little about Chris at Precious Pets: Life is very important - mine, yours and that of your pet. Working from home I need regular exercise, while both Cefer Cat (he likes well-mannered dogs) & I miss our good mate, Monty. With plenty of swimming and walking, a proper diet along with therapeutic massage and acupuncture, Monty (a very distinguished Curly Coated Retriever) enjoyed nearly 15 years close companionship; his time being evenly divided between living in the glorious Adelaide Hills and on Adelaide’s coast. We travelled a lot and the car can be configured for ease of access and senior dog comfort.Having long been involved in grassroots community and not-for-profit groups, as well as serving on Boards of Management, my network is both broad and geographically widespread. My professional background ranges from laboratory technical to commercial cookery. At the end of our street starts a complex of green space extending a kilometre across playing fields. Just beyond this is Semaphore Beach which is dog-friendly. Looking east by 400 metres we have the Port River loop path with mangroves and dolphins. All in all, this is a great place for exercising dogs either on or off leash in a quiet neighbourhood.

My name is Ben, I am a 39 year old support worker in high schools for children with learning challenges and I am also a yoga teacher. I love caring for and supporting others and helping people live their best lives.
I have grown up surrounded by and loving many animals. My cat Billie sadly passed away at the age of 15 during Covid. I have another cat Frankie who is 19 years old, very active and social and has never had any health issues. Leroy is my best buddy and we do everything together.
I have a lot of experience helping look after others animals whilst they go away or are in hospital. I enjoy connecting with the pets and taking the utmost care with all of their needs whilst in my care.
I understand it can be scary leaving your pets with someone while they may have specific needs and I'm more than happy to follow every step by step guide to ensure your pets routine stays as on track as possible while you are away. Always happy to meet new clients and their babies first to ensure I'm the right person to care for them.

Hi my name is Helen and I absolutely adore dogs.
Our house has an enclosed back yard, with a dog bed and dog couch.
Dogs can sleetp outside or inside in a comfortable garage that has a big brown couch.
There is a large doggy door from the kitchen to the backyard.
I can only take vaccinated pets as I have a 3.5 year Husky X.
He is very friendly as he attends doggy daycare when I am at work and has been around many dogs since he was 10 months old.
To me, they are so special and I understand they are an important part of our family.
I have grown up with dogs and each and every one of them are unique.
Although this is my first time on Pawshake as a sitter I have used it for various services.
I know want to help out others with their fur babies.
I love taking long walks along the beach or parks etc.
My next career move will be opening up a doggy day care centre.
For now, I want to spend as much time as possible with as many beautiful pooches.
I would always offer to do a meet and greet and you can then decide if I am suitable to look after your dog and take them for walks, look after them in my home and stay with them overnight.
Helen xx

Hello! My name is Shannon. Back in 2018 I had experience with pet sitting as I used to travel to locations all over Adelaide with a friend to look after fur babies (can't help but call them that). It's been too long since I have had the chance to get back into it. And I finally have a decent amount of time to dedicate to being a pet sitter.
My motivation stems from a genuine love for animals, adoring all types. Cats in particular have my heart, they're the sweetest and I've never had a negative experience with a cat or a dog. Growing up I had a few cats which I still really miss.
Most of my experience is with small to medium dogs, and one Great Dane! And many cats.
Im willing to do drop bys to make sure the animals are fed, played with and walked, I'm also wanting to do overnight stays, as I love the responsibilities that come with looking after a pet. Making sure they have someone there, especially when I've built up the trust. I'd have one myself but I just can't financially justify that yet! So the privilege of taking care of a pet and giving you as an owner the peace of mind, that they are safe and happy (will always send pictures) is fulfilling enough.
I have a lot of spare time, and all the attention in the world to give to your pets. I'm always 15-30 minutes early once a schedule has been set, as it can give me time to get to know both you and your pet. I'm so keen to learn the different personalities that come with any breed.

i my name is Caitlin. I'm 20 and I love all types of animals. I have grown up around several different types of dogs as well as other pet and I really enjoy spending time with and getting to know different dogs. Each dog has there own personality, charms and weird quirks that we all love. If you trust me to look after your fur baby I can promise you that they will be well cared for and shown so much love while they are on their little adventure. I currently have 2 dog at home named Gabby and Bruno who are actually mother and son. They love meeting new people. I have finished my time at school as of last year and am just looking to do something I can enjoy at least for now. So hopefully I will be able to meet your beautiful pets and have a lovely time together. I don't take dogs to my house as mine are not very friendly with other but I am more then happy to check on your pets and take them out so they can enjoy themselves. I am currently available from Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm for walks up to an hour I will usually stay in the area for walks or find a park near by. I can also spend up to an hour with your dog for a house visit. For house visits I can help with a small task you may have like bring in any mail or watering any plants.

As a child I have respected animals and I have learned about their care, how to feed them, be empathic and manage an appropriate environment for them.I am very close and affectionate with pets, I feel very happy being around cats, dogs and all kinds of animals. I enjoy spending time playing with them, making them expend energy, petting them, and giving them my affection. I have the ability to assist pets with their basic needs for their well-being such as food, entertainment, grooming and care for they well being.I have a lot of experience taking care of cats and dogs in their homes, giving them what is necessary for their care and entertainment. I am an honest, caring, trustworthy person with great empathy towards animals.

I will also promptly communicate any concerns I notice regarding your cats health and well being. If the unexpected happens and your cat needs vet care, rest assured they will be taken care of and be seen to by the vet of your choice - with your permission.
I'm new to Pawshake, however I have been providing care for cats through boardings and home check-ins for around 18 months now - with great success and very happy pets and owners.
I do not have any pets of my own, however I've had animals for most of my life and enjoy their company and taking care of them.
