Sometimes life can get really busy and you might find yourself a little short on time to walk your dog. Luckily with Pawshake, it is really easy to connect with thousands of pet lovers and find a walker in Newtown VIC who is available and waiting to help you out.

All of our walkers are vetted individually and every dog walker booking is covered by The Pawshake Guarantee so you can rest easy while they spend time with your dog. Additionally, your Pawshake walker will be from your local Newtown VIC neighbourhood and their profile also includes reviews from other pet parents.

Having a dog walker visit during the day is an affordable and great way to break up the day and make your dog’s day more interesting. Some of our walkers walk multiple dogs at once so this service is a great way for your dog to socialise and meet other similar dogs. However, if your dog prefers to be walked alone, you can also find Newtown VIC dog walkers who only walk one dog at a time. That way, the walks can be completely dedicated to what your dogs want – whether is a slow walk-and-sniff or a faster paced brisk walk around the block, our Pawshake dog walkers will be happy to oblige.

I offer boarding, daycare and dog walking. Every stay includes meals on your pet's usual schedule, fresh water,, exercise, play and plenty of company. Training or grooming.
I can give your animal oral tablets and eye drops.
I board a maximum of 2–3 dogs at a time, so every dog gets proper individual attention.
Walks run about 30–45 minutes, and I adjust to your dog's age, energy and fitness.
I offer 2 walks per day during boarding, plus extra play and garden time.
Time with pets:
Pet care is a core part of my day, not an add-on. Walks, meals and playtime are built around the animals staying with me.
Availability:
I'm available [7 days a week / weekdays and weekends, including holidays]. Just message me with your dates.
Work from home or leave the house?
I am at home and am around most of the day, with occasional short outings. Pets are never left alone for longer than the platform limits.
Can you supervise guest pets 24/7?
Yes, I am home overnight every day of the week, and during the day, I'm home / pets are never left alone.
Where can guest pets sleep?
Wherever they're happiest. I have two indoor areas for pets who like to snuggle up, a covered veranda with a couch for fresh air without sun or rain, and a traditional outdoor kennel for pets who prefer sleeping outside.
Backyard.
We have a spacious garden with lots of corners and hidden spots to sniff out. The whole property is fully fenced with secure, locked gates, so pets can explore safely. The property is full of plants and garderns about 1000 square meters.

Hello! I’m Lucy
My love for animals is something that has been with me my entire life; I grew up surrounded by pets and have always felt a deep connection to them. For the last six months, I’ve been taking that passion and channeling it into professional pet and house sitting. There is nothing quite like the companionship of an animal, and my absolute priority is ensuring your pets feel safe, loved, and completely at ease while you are away.
Who I Care ForI am delighted to care for:

Dogs: Small to medium-sized breeds
Other Friends: Cats, fish, and birds

Please note: I am currently planning on undertaking further courses to better understand and manage more complex behaviors in the future, I am not comfortable caring for large or reactive dogs at this stage. I believe in being completely honest about my current comfort levels so I can guarantee the safest, most positive experience for your pet!
My services
Overnight stays:
This includes me staying in the owners home overnight, and allowing me to go about my daily life during the day. But do not fret, I will still be able to give your pets the love and care that they need
24 hour care:
This includes me staying in the owners home up to 24 hours per day, this will incur an extra charge if required
Dog walking:
This involves walks of up to 30 minutes each time, however if more time is required there will be an extra charge
Day visits:
As the title states, this involves me spending time at the owners home of up to 5 hours. This includes walking, feeding, playing or just general company. If more than 5 hours is required, then there will be a fee added on top.
What My Services IncludeWhen I care for your pets, they get the five-star treatment. My standard services include:

Daily Essentials: Fresh food, clean water, and tidy up of their spaces (cleaning litter trays, bowls, and cages).
Love & Attention: Lots of play, companionship, walks and endless cuddles!
Home Help: To make your life a little easier, I’m also happy to help out with extra basic tasks like watering your plants, taking out the bins, and doing some basic gardening while you are away. Any extra cleaning or gardening will have an extra fee.

My Setup & Practical DetailsBecause I have my own wonderful "menagerie" of beloved pets at home, I am unable to host guest pets in my own house. Instead, I only offer sitting services directly at your home. This is actually a massive bonus for your pets, as they get to stay in their own familiar environment, keeping their stress levels low and their daily routines completely uninterrupted.
I understand that leaving your furry family members can be stressful, which is why I treat every home and pet with the utmost respect, reliability, and care. I love sending regular updates and photos so you can have complete peace of mind while you're gone.
I look forward to meeting you and your beautiful pets soon

Hi there! I was studying nursing at Deakin University and I’m also a proud dog mum to a small, friendly pup named Milo . My nursing background has taught me to be patient, detail-oriented and calm in all kinds of situations — qualities that I naturally bring into caring for pets. I understand how important it is to make sure your furry family member feels safe, happy and well looked after when you’re away.

I’ve always had a strong love for animals and truly enjoy spending time with them. Whether it’s daily walks, feeding, playtime, or simply offering comfort and companionship, I do everything with care and attention. Having my own dog has helped me understand routines, dietary needs and little personality quirks that make every pet unique.

I offer a range of services including dog walking, day care, home visits and overnight sitting in the Geelong area. I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal schedule to make them feel at home. You can expect regular photo updates and messages while you’re away, so you know your pet is safe and content.

For everyone’s safety, I only take vaccinated and friendly pets. I treat every animal as if they were my own — with love, patience and plenty of cuddles ️

Hi! I’m a caring and reliable pet sitter who truly enjoys spending time with animals and building genuine connections with them. I have a gentle and patient personality, and I always pay close attention to each pet’s unique needs, emotions, behavior, and daily routines. I understand that every pet is different, so I take the time to build trust and help them feel safe, comfortable, and secure in their own environment.

I usually tailor each visit based on the pet’s needs. Dog walks are typically around 20–60 minutes depending on energy level and routine. During visits, I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, clean litter or living spaces, and receive either playtime or calm companionship depending on their personality.

I’m also confident handling unexpected situations calmly and responsibly. If any issue arises, such as a pet showing signs of stress or illness, I will immediately contact the owner and follow any provided instructions. Your pet’s safety and well-being will always be my first priority.

With a background in customer service, I’m very detail-oriented, respectful, and attentive in communication. I will also send regular updates with messages or photos so you can feel reassured while you’re away.

I treat every pet as if they were my own, with genuine care, consistency, and responsibility.

I have a cat（5 years old） and a rabbit at home now（in China）. My family used to have a dog too. When I was back home, I spent tons of time with my cat every day - she slept with me and watched TV with me.
I know what pets should and shouldn't eat, and I also know how to get along with them. I can pick up on my pets' moods and whether they're not feeling well or sick right away.
I'll keep an eye on the cats and dogs at all times, and I'll treat different pets - whether outgoing or introverted - in different ways. The outgoing ones will let them get exposed to new things, and for the introverted ones, I'll just spend more time playing with them.
I usually take my dogs for a walk for about half an hour, in safe areas like parks and residential neighborhoods, to make sure they get enough exercise and stay healthy. Of course we'll also get them home safely without the owners having to worry, and we'll give them a detailed rundown of what we did today.
I love pets so much!Even though I can't bring my pets to Australia, I still want to spend time with them here, so please feel free to leave your pets in my care - I'll be great friends with them!

Hi! My name is Tiffany, and I’m passionate about providing loving care for animals of all kinds. I have over five years of experience volunteering at the RSPCA, where I gained hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, and other animals, ensuring their safety, health, and happiness. I also hold a Certificate II in Animal Studies, which has given me a strong foundation in animal behaviour, welfare, and handling. Beyond volunteering, I have experience fostering animals, providing temporary homes and nurturing care for pets in need.

I am motivated by my genuine love for animals and the joy I get from helping them feel safe, happy, and well-cared for. By providing companionship, play, and reassurance, I take pride in offering attentive, reliable, and compassionate care to every animal I look after. I am committed to treating each pet as if they were my own, ensuring they receive the attention, care, and love they deserve.
