I’m also confident handling unexpected situations calmly and responsibly. If any issue arises, such as a pet showing signs of stress or illness, I will immediately contact the owner and follow any provided instructions. Your pet’s safety and well-being will always be my first priority.

With a background in customer service, I’m very detail-oriented, respectful, and attentive in communication. I will also send regular updates with messages or photos so you can feel reassured while you’re away.

I've had various cats &amp; dogs over the years, but currently have a cat that was a failed foster (couldn't let her go after hand feeding as a kitten), a cavoodle and 2 fish!
I used to do quite a lot of dog and cat sitting when I lost my last dog, a 13 year old cavalier King Charles spaniel, named Bill, as couldn't bring myself to get another pup, but missed the company of animals so much. In this time I cared for cats needing daily injections, so am comfortable administering such medications. I also cared for birds &amp; dogs as small as Chihuahua'a and as large as Bernese mountain dogs (my all time favourite).
I work full time, but have the flexibility to work from home, but also to take dogs to the office with me, so can work around what works for you and your fur-baby.
I own a fully secure house with rear garden area near great walking tracks, but am happy with a short stroll for those who can't venture too far. Whatever works for your little one

I’ve always had a deep love for animals of all kinds, but dogs have always held a special place in my heart. I have two beautiful Dogue de Bordeaux at home - mama Adora and her son Leo. They may look big and tough, but they’re really just giant, gentle, love-filled softies.

I am able to administer medication if needled, basic grooming and most importantly, look after every need your pet may have. It is therapeutic to me to care for your animals.I&nbsp; have a border collie who will be staying with me if I&nbsp; do any overnight pet sits .I have a police clearance certificate and am honest, caring, trustworthy.A bit more about myself. At my property in Whittington, your pets will be free to explore nature in a secure and fully fenced 3,250 sqm parkland and grassy area. My home features lush gardens, an orchard, and a veggie patch where dogs can enjoy plenty of space to play and cats can enjoy a peaceful environment. For dog walks, we are only a short distance from the Bellarine Rail Trail and St Albans Reserve, which are perfect for daily exercise.&nbsp;
I have designed separate spaces to accommodate a variety of pets. Dogs will have large designated outdoor areas, providing ample space for comfort, safety, and exercise. They can explore the large backyard several times daily. I enjoy walking alongside them in the expansive off-leash area so they get a healthy dose of exercise, enjoy companionship, and commune with the natural environment.
Additionally, I offer accommodations for smaller animals, such as a 12 sqm bird/rabbit cage and an eight sqm chicken coop, ensuring all pets have suitable environments. While most pets will be kept outdoors, cats may be allowed indoors depending on the owner's requirements and for an extra surcharge.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

I live centrally in Geelong with my family, including our school-aged child and a cat. &nbsp;
I have personally used Pawshake for my pets for years, so I understand the importance of knowing your four-legged friend/s will be in the best care. Your dog's wellbeing is my priority, and my husband and I will treat your dog like family.&nbsp;
Your dog (or dogs) will have plenty of company - both my husband and I work from home, and I work part-time hours. When we go out, we always aim to take our dog companions with us wherever possible. So your dog will be well-supervised.
Rest assured that your dog will sleep inside and they will be provided with * lots * of cuddles and belly rubs, if it's welcome! You're welcome to bring your dog's bowl, bed, toys, and other familiar comforts to help them feel more at home.
I live near several parks, reserves, and walking tracks, where I can take your dog for lovely walks and outings. While at home, they will enjoy exploring and playing in our large, securely fenced backyard.
Got an oldie? I am confident and attentive with older dogs; we have cared for our own, which have reached 17 years old. My husband and I have experience administering oral medications to dogs, e.g. for heart murmurs or arthritis.
While I'm comfortable caring for a variety of breeds, to ensure a smooth stay, a Meet and Greet is an essential step, and I cannot confirm a booking without one.
Before your pet's stay with me, please be sure to accommodate the following considerations:
Confirm that your dog is up to date on vaccinations and treatments, including for worms and fleas, to ensure a happy and healthy stay. Also, that your pet is toilet-trained, as our home has carpets.
To ensure the stay runs safely and smoothly, I can only take dogs who are safe around children, compatible with cats, well-socialised with other dogs, and willing &amp; able to be walked on a leash. Dogs with destructive or aggressive behaviours or tendencies are unsuitable to board with me.
Please let me know if your pet has any special requirements. I have a driver’s license and a car in the unlikely event your pet needs veterinary attention.&nbsp;
I also offer dog walking and would be delighted to take your dog (or dogs) to one of many great local spots. If they have a favourite park, I would be pleased to go there if you prefer.
