I have 6 years experience as an animal care attendant in UCD veterinary hospital. I'm only new to pet sitting but I have a lot of experience with dogs as I've always been brought up with them all my life and currently have three lurchers at home. 
I would be very comfortable with all dogs and due to working in UCD I do have some experience with cats. I'd be open and willing to mind other animals. I can also administer oral tablets to your dogs if needs be as I do this regularly in my job.

Now that I’ve retired, I have time to spend with dogs, and hopefully with yours too!I usually walk twice a day, so you can decide whether morning or afternoon suits your dog better. I tend to take different routes to have a bit of variety.  I'm happy to cover the following surburbs - Applecross, Mt Pleasant, Adross, Manning &amp; Como
As I have a small dog myself, the preference will be any dogs up to 15kgs. You must provide either a collar or harness with a lead (not extendable), although I will have a spare lead with me. If heavy rain is expected, the walk will be delayed otherwise it will be on, so you will need to have a raincoat handy and a towel for when we get home :-)

Hello! I'm Jo and nothing makes me happier than being able to love on any and all animals, but doggos in particular — I'd love to care for yours! ️
I have years of experience caring for my own dog Benson. He's a beautiful, lovable boy, but is a complicated and reactive rescue pup with very specific needs: from being able to walk his strong, occasionally lead-pulling 30kg self, to dispensing medication and giving him plenty of enrichment at home through play and food — I'm well-versed in dog care. I'm very passionate about caring for doggos' individual needs, and for meeting them at wherever they're at in their lives.
Additionally, I've never thought much about pet sitting until I needed one for Benson —it was only then I realised how unique our requirements were and how challenging it was to find a suitable sitter for him! There's clearly a gap in the community and I would love to be able to support other carers of complicated doggos where I can; I know that it can be really tough.
I don't do offer any boarding services only because Benson is a complicated pup who isn't keen on other animals, but I'm more than happy to come to yours to care for and love on your pet like they're my own!

Jimmy is my dog at home and is now a very old man so unfortunately he can't join me on my walks anymore. I grew up with ￼jack russels and foxies. Hi, my name's Finn and 24 years old. Born &amp; raised in Ireland, and in 2019 transferred to UWA to complete my studies as a mechanical engineer of which I have one more year left of my master’s degree. Currently working full-time as a vac student for a Dutch engineering company called Fugro.
A friend of mine recently told me about Pawshake and I thought it would be a brilliant opportunity for me as I love dogs and all animals but unfortunately can't have any of my own as I live in an apartment block which doesn't allow pets. Although with my busy schedule, I don't think it would be right having any pets of my own as I couldn't commit enough time to take care of them.
I'm a very active person who loves the outdoors and I see this as a brilliant opportunity to motivate myself to explore more of Perth's parks, beaches, and forest trails and better yet I'd have a companion to do it. As I'm working full-time, it's much less about the money and more so something I'd just really enjoy.
I had two dogs growing up (Ali &amp; Diego) who were a cross between a border collie and a springer spaniel, as you can see in one of the photos I've uploaded (black &amp; white dogs). We trained them very well and I never struggled to keep them under control which of course is a detrimental factor to being a good/safe dog owner. Additionally, I've looked after many friends, family and partners dogs which I've bonded with and taken great joy in minding.
I'm looking to start dog walking during my time off on the weekends but I'm also considering try to fit walks in before or after work on weekdays too. This is something I'd be willing to discuss with owners depending on their needs. I also have my own car so I can pick-up &amp; drop-off as needed.
