I love the outdoors, running, hiking, reading and being around or in water! but I love animals a lot more! Since childhood all I've ever known is being surrounded by animals! From day old puppies too senior dogs Ive always enjoyed having pets around and being in the company of animals. I always had 4 or more dogs running around so when I left home it was very odd! I moved to wales In 2021 and became a pet sitter along side my full time job as an Outdoor Instructor. This way I could still be around animals and help people out at the same time too! 
Back in the UK, I house &amp; pet sat many different times for many different people! I built a good repor with the owners and of course the pets too! I had some people who were returning owners which meant their animals had a familiar face they knew when their owners weren't around. I loved doing this for people, so wanted to see if I could do it over here too! No floof too big or too small! I'd be Adhering to all the owners wishes - on a leash/off a leash, long walks for the more energetic dog and shorter walks for the more senior of floofs, medication and feeding times etc.


I’m Amulya, and my love for dogs and cats has been part of who I am for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my parents didn’t share my animal obsession hence I never had a pet that I could call my own. So whenever our neighbors asked me to look after their playful Labrador, Harley, I jumped at the chance. Those afternoons spent chasing tennis balls down leafy streets, rubbing his soft ears, and watching her curl up contentedly at my feet felt like pure magic. From there, I began helping out the other families down the block, walking their dogs, feeding and entertaining their shy cats. Each new friendship reminded me how much joy and comfort animals bring, and I fell in love with pet-sitting.&nbsp;
Since moving to Canberra two years ago, I’ve sorely missed that furry companionship. Joining Pawshake feels like the perfect way to bring more of those joyful moments back into my life—and to share them with pets and their families who need a reliable friend. Whether it’s a brisk 30-minute walk through your neighborhood, an energetic game of tug-of-war in the backyard, or a peaceful cuddle session on the couch, I will pour my full attention and genuine affection into every visit.
