My name is Jill, I'm 60 years old, mum to 2 dogs - Lamb Chop an 8 year old boxer and Honey a 3 year old Daschund. I am very excited to offer my services as a carer for your beloved pets. 
I am mum to 3 boys and a grandparent to three perfect little people who I adore. I am now retired and want to spend more time doing things that I love and pets are my happy place. 
I have become a pet sitter because I have been through the anxiety of where to find the best place to leave my own pets. Invariably that ends up being a trip with them. Or occasionally a son is living back in SA and will mind them. So, I completely understand the worry and I get the responsibility. I can offer regular updates and photos whilst you're away for some extra reassurance. Or, if you're like me, video chats with your fur babies.
For home visits I will come in and spend at least 30 minutes with your pet at each visit, playing, feeding, checking water is fresh and, if necessary I can water your plants and bring in the mail, attend to bins. 
For walks I will take your pets for at least a 30 minute walk or less if that's what they require. I will not walk pets on hot days when pavements and roads are too hot. But can spend time in active play as an alternative. 
If you can give me clear guidelines I would love to keep to your pets normal routine as closely as possible. Basically, I want to make your time away as unnoticed as possible by your pets.
Living in a small home with 2 dogs of my own I can't offer boarding or day care. 

Since childhood, I've always been passionate about pets. I grew up with 2 dogs, Mike and Bob, and I also always admired my grandma's care for her bird. Living with them taught me the importance of love and care for our furry friends. The opportunity to be a pet sitter is a dream come true for me, as it allows me to be in daily contact with these lovely creatures. The care I provide goes beyond feeding them and giving them water; it involves playing, walking, giving affection, and being attentive to their emotional and physical needs. Being a pet sitter is not just a job; it's a calling that brings me joy and satisfaction in being able to make a difference in the lives of these beings.
In Brazil, besides looking after my Bruce, a very active border collie who loves to play, I had some regular clients where I would take animals for walks, take care of their needs for a few days while their owners were away, such as feeding, providing attention, and playing.
I provide all of the following care services:
1. In-home visits for feeding, water, and basic care.
2. Regular walks for exercise and socialization.
3. Temporary accommodation at the pet sitter's own home.
4. Specialized care for elderly animals or those with special needs according to the owners' instructions.
5. Regular updates for owners on their pets' health and well-being.
Only vaccinated animals due to safety and contact with other animals.

Happy to do any general yard maintenance required or feed other pets (birds, rabbits, etc). Work during the day (excluding weekends) so will walk, feed and care for your pets in the morning and afternoon. Happy to accommodate any other services that may need doing such as lawns.

My motivation to be a pet sitter comes from a lifelong connection with animals and the joy they bring into our lives. I have been a dog parent for years and completely understand the importance of a pet in an owner's life. Pets only understand the language of love and I have seen it when I was petting my own or was baby sitting my friends' or neighbours' pets.&nbsp;
Though coming from an IT background, I realized it at the age of 40, what my real passion was. I want to spend time and get and give unconditional love from these species who communicate loud without words. A family who's passionate for dogs, we all are looking forward to welcome your fur baby with open arms. For the comfort of the pet, I am absolutely fine visiting the owner's home. My home is equipped with a gated backyard providing enough space for the pet to walk around and at the same time have open parks in less than 100meters range to go for long walks.&nbsp;
Dogs need space and it's best for them to run and develop their muscle strength. I am happy and comfortable to take them to leash walks in nearby parks and have them interact with their friends. While it's fun to play with them, but it's equally important to get them to a routine of play, eat and sleep. I believe in working with the owners to understand their patterns and likes/dislikes so they can be taken care of well. In totality, I have about 3-4 years of experience living and loving pets, but that has changed my overall perspective towards life and humanity in general.&nbsp;
