After switching to a vegetarian and vegan diet from a heavy meat/dairy Mediterranean diet, I realised how much animals and the environment meant to me.

I'm Zuzana (19 y.o.) and I'm an international student from Czech republic. I came here 2 months ago and I really love animals I have 2 in my country (dog- french buldog and cat) and I really miss them so this is great oportunity for me to have at least some contact with animals. I'm going here to english course monday to thursday, late afternoons and weekends (+friday) I'm available. My previous experiences are the ones with my own pets (mentioned). Also few years ago I had a parrot and hamster. I can't take animals to my apartment because I share it with my another two friends and it would be disrespectful towards them.. but I don't have problem to go to your place to take care pf your pets even when it's more further (central, surry hills etc). I love walking with dogs I would prefer this type of pet sitting the most but I'm also happy to cuddle them, feed them and take care pf them at your place.

I moved to Sydney at the beginning of 2020 from my home town in noosa. my favourite part of sydney has been the weather ️ I absolutely love living here.
I spend my free time gaming, I enjoy going for walks but prefer to do more indoor activities, I also do a lot of art and puzzles as well.
Ive lived with animals my whole life. My family has always had dogs  so I'm quite comfortable around all animals. I don't have any pets myself atm but I do live with a dog that belongs to my housemate. She is a very beautiful dog, lots of energy and always up for a belly rub and a pat.&nbsp;
I joined pawshake so that I can meet more animals and make sure they are taken care of properly while their family is on holiday. I have about 4 years experience working in the veterinary field (1 year in a regular clinic and 3 years in an Emergency Specialty Hospital) so i'm very comfortable around all animals / all dog breeds. I have 4 family dogs at home (Cali aka cowcow: 8 year old Lab x Staffy - Molson: 9 year old American Staffy - Nova: 5 year old Golden Retriever - Blaze aka Bug: 5 year old Golden Doodle). These dogs are my absolute world and I miss them every time I'm away. 
I did pet sitting when I was in Australia in 2022/2023 and loved it. It was a great way to explore new areas and spend times with pets while I missed mine at home. I also completed my 3 months required regional work at a wildlife sanctuary where I was responsible for feeding, medicating, and cleaning up after all the joeys and farm animals that were on the property.
