We are an Irish couple who moved to Melbourne over a year ago. We love our lives in Elsternwick but we really miss looking after the dogs that we grew up with at home in Ireland. I'm a primary school teacher with time off this summer and my partner Chloe is a nurse who does shift work so we find that we have a lot of spare time. We spend this time walking around the local parks and beaches and we often think that it would be really lovely to do this with a dog like we would at home! We aren't sure if we'll be in Australia for long so we can't commit to owning a dog here but we would love an opportunity to look after other people's while we're here! We live in an apartment in Elsternwick with lots of space for one more temporary housemate. We'd love to keep your pet company on our days off and we would be happy to accommodate some overnight stays too! As I am not working at the moment, I can give my full time to pets that we are boarding and not leave them alone at all, I have experience training my own dogs at home so I will give the pets plenty of attention without giving them any bad habits! I will happily take them for walks in the nearby parks or at the nearby Elwood Beach and our apartment block has plenty of open spaces where they can relax and play!&nbsp;

HOUSE SITTING: I can start on short notice and am okay to leave on short notice if your plans happen to change.&nbsp;I am a quiet non-smoker &amp; non-drinker. I am extremely tidy and always clean up after myself. I am flexible to your needs around your home and happy to water the gardens, mow the lawn or whatever else you may need doing. I will send daily updates as you please, to give you piece of mind that your pet is in the right hands.&nbsp;
I am an absolute animal lover, be it a dog who needs to be walked all day or a cat who just wants me there for the food; having grown up with dogs, cats and fish we have the knowledge and care to look after your pet as if they were my own. Hi, Im Regina, I'm 41 years old professional and a Cat mum to a rescue tortoiseshell who thinks she is a dog haha and I am a regular dog sitter for furry pals too. I have decided to do professional pet minding and walking because I enjoy it so much - both walking and animals - so why not make some extra cash on the side while doing so.&nbsp;
I recently did a 5 week stay at someone's home looking after their groodle who needed me to stay everynight and daily with constant supervision and this included daily walking, feeding, grooming care, play time. Watering plants and taking garbage out and in is part of the service when I stay overnight.&nbsp;otherwise i do short stays too or just drop ins for daily walks! 
I am happy to pet sit in many different areas of Melb so long as its not too difficult for me to get to work if i need to go in.

I have had pets all my life (dogs, cats, rabbits, fish, the list goes on!)so I am well used to caring for animals and treating them as a member of the family, as they should be! I have also cared for animals of all ages, from puppy’s to dusty faced gentlemen so I am used to having clean up toilet accidents and give medication. My own cat was diabetic so I can even administer medication intravenously and orally whenever required. 

I am a person who loves the outdoors and would love to share that with your pet with plenty of walks and socialising with other 4 legged friends.

Unfortunately I cannot entertain your pet in my home due to the building rules, but I can travel to your home for multiple visits a day and stay in your home for extended periods if needed. My name is Juliana, I'm 34 years old. I'm a brazilian national that have been living in Melbourne for seven mounths. I am a journalist and I managed to keep the job I had in Brazil and now work from home. However, I would like to do something different and related with animals because I miss a lot my dog that stayed in Brazil (her name is Nutella). So it will be a pleasure to take care of other people's pets as my own. I took care of my friend's cat (her name is Shady) that lives in Balaclava, while her parents were travelling around South Africa for three weeks. Also in Brazil, my last experience was taking care of two cats (Magoo and Princess). I offer dog walking in a park for around 1 hour  (St Kilda, Elsterwick, Elwood) and just one dog at a time. I generally prefer to keep dogs on a lead unless an owner specifies. I'll keep in regular contact and send photo/bideo updates. I will collect your dog from your house, and bring them back safely. 
- Doggy Day Care -&gt; I am happy to look after your dog for long extended periods or as short as you need. I live in a small apartament with my partner that work during the day in a office. I don't have a garden, but I live next to a park and a 25-minute walk from the beach. Dog walks will be a duration of 40 min per walk, and a maximum of 4 walks per/day. It's important to say that I don't administer medication for the pets.

I have also had dogs from puppy age.
I have looked after friends' dogs when they went on holidays.

When am I available?
I am currently not working, so available for walks or home visits during the day.&nbsp;
What services would I provide?
I am very active and will be delighted to take your dogs for a walk, have a play and give them lots of pats.&nbsp;
I will meet with you and your fur child/ren and will take a brief from you (get to know your pet; what they like or don't like; words they know; any special instructions).

Home visits: I will stay at least 30 mins. I will play with them, give them lots of pats, love and attention.
Dog walks: I will take them for a walk for at least 30 mins (time to pick up and drop off not included in the 30 mins). Preference would be to have them on leash. They can also have play time off leash with toys and balls in my garden.
Dog day care: I am open to providing this service. A lot would depend on how your dog gets on with mine (he is very friendly and loves to play) and on your dog's behaviour (my neighbours might not like excessive barking).

What is my neighbourhood like?
There are lots of dog friendly parks around Bentleigh East (King George Memorial Reserve ) and Hampton (Dendy Park) and of course the foreshore (Hampton).
I have a safe and large backyard.

My name is Mel. I'm a post graduate law student from Bayside. I originally wanted to pursue a career as a Vet however, switched to law at the last minute!
I begin full time work in late Feb and am looking for an extra hobby over my summer break! I adore animals and am a big dog lover! I have 2 dogs, Kellie (13) and Harley (15). Kellie is a Kelpie and Harley is a chocolate Labrador. As such, I'm confident with big dogs and love walking them! I've had experience caring for older dogs and puppies.

DOG WALKING: 
The services I can provide are dog walking and feeding! I am happy to walk your dog multiple times a day if necessary and ensure they remain active while you're away! It is your choice how long you'd like the walk to be but for most dogs 30 minutes to an hour is appropriate.

I adore all animals big and small! I'd be happy to do multiple daily visits for feeding, filling up water bowls or just to give them some love and attention while you're away! Ryan and I are from the UK and have recently moved to Brighton, Melbourne. Ryan is an accountant and I am a secondary teacher. We both love walking and being outdoors and are physically active.&nbsp;
We have had to leave our doggy (shar-pei/springer spaniel) Bruno back in the UK with his 'nanny' and therefore we would love to be able to help others and be around dogs in Australia. We obviously both have experience with dogs and are competent in all areas of caring for them. We would be happy to walk, or be able to help in any way. My name is Ellise, I'm 34 years old and I've just made my passion for animals official by completing my Cert II in Animal Care through the RSPCA (where said goat walking took place).
I currently work as a dog walker in the St Kilda / Albert Park / Caulfield / Brighton area, and I've been volunteering at animal shelters over the last 10 years.&nbsp;
My volunteer duties have included cleaning pens, bedding, providing enrichment, feeding, and walking dogs. It's something I truly enjoy, and I begin my diploma in Vet Nursing next year. My goal is to become a shelter nurse in the future so I can help (&amp; cuddle!) even more pets.
I would love to help other pet owners feel at ease about the well-being of their fur baby which is why I want to offer my services. I live by the beach and it's only 2kms to Brighton dog beach, or MO Moran Reserve, both fantastic spots with lots of smells while walking, to help your dog be as mentally stimulated as possible.
I have an open licence and clean driving history so pick-ups and drop-offs are no problem.
