Hi! I am Sophie (31) and most likely will be taking care of your pets together with my partner Ben (39). We used to live in the Netherlands (I am Dutch) but are now happy to be back in Australia. We love the outdoors and going for walks (preferably with animal friends). We play tennis and enjoy going to the beach for a swim or a run.&nbsp;
We both work online from wherever we have internet. I am a sportspychologist and Ben is a writer of kidsbooks. At the moment we are exploring Australia, partly to see the country and partly with an eye for where we'd like to settle down. Petsitting is the perfect way to experience these wonderful places as a local. A furry friend (or many) makes this all the more fun, especially since we work from home a lot, they are a welcome distraction and good excuse to go for a walk. Our petsitting journey began 2 years ago, and since then, we've had the pleasure of looking after a variety of animals, from cats and dogs to horses, cows, chickens, and fish. We understand the importance of routine for your pets, so we make it a priority to stick to their established feeding and walking schedules. If your pets require medication, we have experience in this area, Ben's cat was a diabetic and we have looked after pets with different conditions.
In the Netherlands we had a nice little house, that we renovated ourselves. We are houseproud and would truly enjoy taking care of your home. Without pets of our own at the moment, we eagerly anticipate the opportunity to meet and pamper your furry or feathered companions. I’m a Brit currently living on the Gold Coast, and one of the things I miss most about home is my big fluffy dog — a Caucasian Shepherd / Golden Doodle cross who’s been part of my family for the past seven years. Because of him, I know how much joy, companionship, and comfort dogs bring to our lives, and I’d love the chance to spend time with other pets while I’m here.
I’m very outdoorsy and spend most of my free time by the ocean or out walking, so being able to share that with dogs feels like the perfect fit.&nbsp;
With my shift work and time off, I also have plenty of free hours during the day, which makes me flexible and available when you need me.&nbsp;

    Hi my name is Keziah but you can call me Kez! I'm 29 and originally from Edinburgh in Scotland, however ventured to this side of the world in 2019. Over the past few years I have grown to love living in Australia, but one thing I do miss is having a companion running around! I am from a family that has always had a dog, mainly spaniels and labradors so I am not shy in knowledge on how to handle larger and more active breeds. I also have experience in looking after dogs across a range of ages including puppies and elderly. Recent longer sits I have complete have been 1 small dog for a 4 week period, which I loved having the company of and a week long house sit/dog sit for an active working dog so super keen and open to all enquiries.&nbsp;
    I, myself, am an active person and love the outdoors. I currently work in child disability as a private support worker as well as studying nursing full-time, therefore health and happiness is something I show great interest in. I would love love love to get a dog of my own, however at the moment I am waiting for my permanent residency approval before I make that commitment. In the meantime, I am opening myself up to help doggy owners out by providing dog sitting (which can be overnight) or walking services in my spare time.&nbsp;

As I have a relevant police check spending time with a dog in the owners home is not an issue and can easily accomodate.

A few months ago I moved from Canada to the Gold Coast, and unfortunately had to leave my sweet pup with my parents back home. Her name is Moo, and she is the black and white shepherd x lab mixed breed shown in my photos! I rescued her 4 years ago and we have spent everyday together since. Saying goodbye to her broke my heart, and now not having a dog at home to cuddle or join me on my walks has been a big adjustment. 
I have years of experience caring and walking dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments, and am happy to tailor to your pups routine, wether that is walking a specific route, incorporating commands, or walking on or off leash. My dog at home has struggled with reactivity to other dogs in the past, so I do have experience with reactive dogs as well, and know how difficult it is to find someone who understands how to handle such behaviour. 
I work 4 days a week (which fluctuate weekly) at a cafe and am available after 4pm on work days, and on my days off I’m available all morning, afternoon and evening.

Hi everyone, my name is Shannon &amp; I am from New Zealand. I have recently moved to the Gold Cost after travelling Europe with my partner Curtis for 8 months. While over there we pet sit for many people looking after dogs of all sizes &amp; cats in the UK &amp; Spain! I absoutely loved it and loved the bond I created with each animal. I have always been a animal lover from a very young age and grew up in a house hold with a large Rhodesian Ridgeback named Moh, who is a gentle giant. From a young age (14) I was trusted to look after family friends dogs such as Hungarian Vizsla, GSP's Labrador, Chihuahua's, Cocker Spaniel and the odd cat &amp; Maine Coon cat! I have then continued looking after friends, flatmates &amp; families animals, caring for them as if they were my own. I am extremely active, caring, respectful and would love to have a pet of my own but until then Pawshake will give me a slice of that! Hi! This is Manuel. I’m 27 years old, and I’ve loved animals since I was a child. I grew up surrounded by many different kinds of animals, and I enjoy spending time with them. After living in Japan for two years and working as an engineer in a Biomass Plant, I’ve now moved to Australia from Spain to study Sports, which is one of my passions. I’m eager to find a part-time job and take care of many pets while I’m staying here. I usually walk dogs in the morning and in the afternoon but I'm also opened to do daycare if is required by the owner. I normally spend 30-45 minutes during the walks and I like going to open and friendly-pet places like close parks. I have a flexible schedule for my course so I can be available practically the whole week in any slot.
