Hello! My name is Orla and I am 26 years old and have just recently moved to Perth from Ireland! Animals especially dogs and cats are my absolute passion! What makes me stand out from any other pet sitter is that I have a background in veterinary nursing which I have practiced for over 4 years in which I always deliver high quality care to every animal I meet!

The services I will be providing are dog walking and pet sitting whether that be dog or cat. Please make sure your pet is up to date with any vaccinations and also flea/worming treatments especially dogs wanting to be walked as mixing with other dogs may be unavoidable!

Yes, I have extensive experience taking care of my own animals and my friends' animals in Brazil. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to work with various species of dogs and cats, each with their own unique needs and personalities. This hands-on experience has helped me develop skills in administering medications, providing post-operative care, and handling animals of all ages and temperaments. My approach is always gentle and patient, ensuring that each animal feels secure and loved.

For the safety and health of all pets in my care, I do require that pets be vaccinated before they come into my home. This policy is in place to ensure a safe environment for everyone involved, preventing the spread of diseases and keeping all animals healthy. I believe that maintaining a strict vaccination policy is essential for the well-being of all pets and helps create a harmonious and safe space for them to thrive.

While I am a cat person at heart, I also have a great affection for dogs and enjoy spending time with them just as much. What experience do you have with pet sitting or pet care?

I have owned multiple cats over the years, which has given me firsthand experience in understanding their unique needs and behaviors. Additionally, I have cared for many dogs through pet sitting, which has broadened my ability to cater to the needs of different animals. My experience with both cats and dogs has made me confident in handling various situations, from ensuring pets are well-fed and exercised to providing them with the companionship they need.

Do you accept pets into your home?

While I love pets deeply, I do not accept them into my home. However, I am fully committed to providing top-notch care in the pet’s own familiar environment, ensuring they feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away.


I have previous animal care experience. I worked in doggy daycare for a few years, as well as Cat Haven. More recently I was a foster carer for another Perth cat rescue for over a year. I currently volunteer with black cockatoos every other Wednesday, and have previously volunteered with other wildlife, so I am open to looking in on animals other than only dogs and cats.&nbsp;
Currently, I am available on Wednesdays for dog walks and/or checking in on your pets. I am available every other Wednesday AM (due to volunteering), but available every Wednesday PM (after 12pm). Available to walk up to an hour.
Depending on the sizes and how your dogs are on a lead, I am happy to possibly walk two dogs at a time. I am happy to walk them within their neighbourhood and nearby parks. If they are okay in the car, I am also happy to visit a nearby dog beach.
I have a police check that I am happy to provide as well.
