I absolutely love dogs and all animals. I had a Shih Tzu and a couple cats since I was little as well as fishes.
My local area in Lindfield has a lot of green space for walking around and I especially love taking dogs for a walk and being as active as possible throughout the day.&nbsp;
I genuinely love all animals and love the various wildlife that visit the area including kookaburras, cockatoos, bush turkeys, rabbits and more.
My motivation to be a dog sitter and walker comes from wanting to give pet owners peace of mind, knowing their furry family members are cared for as if they were my own.
I also love taking photos and will ensure you get photos of your furry companion when you are away or after walks.
I regularly work from home and generally have a flexible work schedule.&nbsp;
I have over 5 years dog/cat sitting and I am regularly the go-to person when looking after my siblings dogs!&nbsp;


I’ve chosen to look after pets because caring for animals has always been a natural and meaningful part of my life. I was raised around pets and have grown up understanding the responsibility, patience, and love that animals need to feel safe and happy. Over the years, this passion led me to volunteer at a veterinary clinic for 3 years, where I gained hands-on experience supporting animal care and wellbeing. That time reinforced how important trust, gentleness, and attention to detail are when looking after someone’s beloved pet. I’m a very genuine and kind person, and I take pride in providing calm, reliable care that treats every animal as if they were my own. I truly enjoy building connections with pets, learning their individual personalities, and ensuring they feel comfortable, cared for, and loved while their owners are away. Looking after animals isn’t just something I do—it’s something I genuinely enjoy and value 


I started pet sitting as favour for a friend who was going travelling for a month, so I looked after his dog, Hunter in 2014/15. That went so well I ended up staying with him for almost a year, taking Hunter for walks twice a day every day, feeding him and cleaning his area. Then, in 2019, back to Brazil (where I’m originally from), I started pet sitting regularly for a friend who had 10 cats and one dog (Ozzy). I stayed at her house at least for a month every year while she traveled for work or holidays. Then, another house with 4 lovely cats. Now back to Australia I have been cat sitting through apps and groups and it has been a great experience, since I absolutely love animals.
I am also a support worker and visual artist. I'm very calm and I like to spend time at home so we keep each other company. Working as carer has made me develop skills and use my own characteristics such as being empathetic, responsible and communicating in different ways, I believe this is one of my fortes as a pet sitter as well, I pay attention to animals needs and I'm always there for them because I do it out of love.

Hi, Larissa here, I'm 32 and animals have held a special place in my heart since I was young.  I had 3 dogs (Snoopy, King and Rabito) and a rabbit (Shinday), they lived a long time. They were very kind dogs that liked to be petted, the bunny made a lot of mess, because she loved to chew everything, but she was very cute.&nbsp;
With all this affection for animals, I want to continue having this contact and care for them.  As Sydney has beautiful parks, I'm sure our walks will be wonderful.  It will be a great satisfaction to be able to take care of your pet.  I'm sure it will be very rewarding for all of us.&nbsp;&nbsp;
