Hello! My name is Rodrigo, and I’ve been house-sitting pets since August 2022, gaining invaluable experience with dogs and cats across Victoria. I am passionate about providing a loving and safe environment for all animals, ensuring they feel at home while their owners are away.&nbsp;
At my property in Whittington, your pets will be free to explore nature in a secure and fully fenced 3,250 sqm parkland and grassy area. My home features lush gardens, an orchard, and a veggie patch where dogs can enjoy plenty of space to play and cats can enjoy a peaceful environment. For dog walks, we are only a short distance from the Bellarine Rail Trail and St Albans Reserve, which are perfect for daily exercise.&nbsp;
I have designed separate spaces to accommodate a variety of pets. Dogs will have large designated outdoor areas, providing ample space for comfort, safety, and exercise. They can explore the large backyard several times daily. I enjoy walking alongside them in the expansive off-leash area so they get a healthy dose of exercise, enjoy companionship, and commune with the natural environment.
Additionally, I offer accommodations for smaller animals, such as a 12 sqm bird/rabbit cage and an eight sqm chicken coop, ensuring all pets have suitable environments. While most pets will be kept outdoors, cats may be allowed indoors depending on the owner's requirements and for an extra surcharge.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
With my calm nature and two years of experience, I understand the needs of pets with anxiety or behavioural challenges. I work primarily from home, which means I can give your pets the attention and care they deserve. I ensure all pets I host are vaccinated to maintain a healthy environment.

About me:
I recently graduated with my masters degree in cybersecurity and working remotely. I'm friendly, happy, respectful, and kind. I love animals and grew up with a dog. Owning a dog, made me realize the stress and anxiety they go through when placed in a shelter while the owners are on holiday. That's why I started my own petting sitting business back home to help ease the anxiety for pets.
Past experience:
I worked for 3 years as a dog walker and pet sitter where I maintain the schedule of the pet and remain in contact with the owners to update them about the day with photos. I'm open to dogs of all sizes and can administer oral medication. 
What do I offer:
-administer oral medications for pets 
- 30 minute, 45 minute, or 1 hour dog walks 
- Home visits for dogs, cats, and other pets where I feed and play with them at your house for an hour. Can come as many times within a day 
- Continuous care during the day where I stay at your home for several hours (depends on your needs and my availability) to ensure that your pet is okay during the day and leave at night. 
When am I available:
 I have a flexible work schedule, so please let me know what you are requiring so I can determine if I can work around my work schedule. Availability may change depending on week.

I love working with animals and going on walks.  What better way to combine my two passions than walking and caring for some fluffy friends.  I currently have a cat and some guinea pigs.
I started walking dogs for a few neighbours as a teen.  To this day I still regularly walk, and sometimes swim with the sweetest German Shepherd.  I experience working with dogs big and small, old and young.  I have some experience with giving medication to dogs and guinea pigs on a regular basis.&nbsp;
Traveling without your pet is tough, but with me you can worry about once less thing with regular check ins with someone who also wants the best for your pet while  you are away.
I am available to check on pets in home and take them on daily walks (depending on my schedule twice daily may be available).  I can also spend overnights or house sit (depending on availability).  If your pet's had additional care needs (medication, etc) I am happy to talk in detail about those needs in detail to see if I would be a good fit for those needs. I want you to know your pet is in safe and caring hands while you are away.
