Sometimes life can get really busy and you might find yourself a little short on time to walk your dog. Luckily with Pawshake, it is really easy to connect with thousands of pet lovers and find a walker in Coolangatta QLD who is available and waiting to help you out.

All of our walkers are vetted individually and every dog walker booking is covered by The Pawshake Guarantee so you can rest easy while they spend time with your dog. Additionally, your Pawshake walker will be from your local Coolangatta QLD neighbourhood and their profile also includes reviews from other pet parents.

Having a dog walker visit during the day is an affordable and great way to break up the day and make your dog’s day more interesting. Some of our walkers walk multiple dogs at once so this service is a great way for your dog to socialise and meet other similar dogs. However, if your dog prefers to be walked alone, you can also find Coolangatta QLD dog walkers who only walk one dog at a time. That way, the walks can be completely dedicated to what your dogs want – whether is a slow walk-and-sniff or a faster paced brisk walk around the block, our Pawshake dog walkers will be happy to oblige.

I am an excited to begin my journey as a pet sitter and dog walker!
My main motivation for becoming a pet sitter comes from my love for animals of all kinds, especially dogs and cats, and the joy I feel when spending time with them.
I enjoy being outdoors, and staying active. Pet sitting allows me to combine these while also earning some extra money.
While I am new to professional dog walking, I do have hands-on experience caring for pets belonging to friends and family. I have taken dogs on walks, helped with feeding, playtime, and company when their owners were away. I have become comfortable being around a variety of animals and understand the importance of patience and trust.
I am happy to work with dogs of different personalities, including shy, nervous, or highly energetic pets.
I am able to adapt to each animal’s routine, needs, and energy level to ensure they feel safe and comfortable.
I have quite a lot of free time at the moment so I am able to take on multiple dog walks per day and home visits if necessary while you are away or at work.
My goal is to provide caring, reliable, and enjoyable walks, treating every pet with kindness and respect as if they were my own🫶

Hi! My name is Marina, and I’m originally from Brazil, currently living on the Gold Coast. I have always loved animals and grew up surrounded by dogs and cats, both at home and in my neighborhood. In Brazil, I cared for the animals in my street, making sure they were fed, safe, and comfortable. This experience taught me patience, responsibility, and how important it is to give pets love and attention.

I am a calm, caring, and reliable person, and I understand how much pets need to feel secure and happy while their owners are away. I enjoy dog walks, feeding, playtime, and giving pets lots of attention and affection. I am happy to follow routines and instructions, and I can also send photo updates during the day so you can see your furry friend is doing well. I would love the opportunity to meet you and your pets and make sure they feel loved and cared for!

Hi, I’m Maria! I’m originally from Brazil and have had a deep passion for caring for dogs since I was a child. I grew up with 8 dogs and have over 20 years of hands-on experience with a wide range of breeds and sizes—including Pitbulls, Staffies, Poodles, Cavoodles, Bulldogs, Labradors, and Golden Retrievers.
My love for animals only grew stronger through the years I spent helping my dad, who was a veterinarian for over 40 years. I spent a lot of time at his clinic, observing and learning about dog behaviour, health, and care. That experience gave me the confidence and knowledge to look after dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and personalities.
I truly enjoy building a bond with each dog I care for and always aim to provide a calm, loving, and safe environment. I’d love to help care for your dog and support you by giving them the love and attention they need while you’re busy with work or life. Their happiness is my priority!

Availability:
I’m usually available afternoon, and evening, depending on my schedule. I aim to be flexible and work around your and your pet’s needs.

Services Offered:
My services include:

Administering medications to pets (if needed)
Basic behaviour training
Dog walking
Pet sitting (at your home or mine, depending on what’s best for your pet)
Home visits

During home visits, I stay with your pets long enough to ensure they’re fed, walked (if needed), played with, and given lots of attention and care. I’m also happy to help with small tasks like watering plants, bringing in the mail, and checking on the house.

For dog walking, walks usually last 30 to 60 minutes, depending on your dog’s needs and energy levels. I walk in safe and pet-friendly areas nearby—local parks, walking tracks, or around your neighbourhood.

For house sitting, I can stay in your home and care for your pets for as long as required, as long as it fits in with my schedule. While house sitting, I take care to keep your home secure, follow your instructions, and maintain a clean and respectful space.

Let me know if you have any special requests—I always try to go the extra mile to keep both pets and owners happy and at ease!

Hi!
I am Hugo Alonso, 29 years old, and I've had pets my entire life (since I was a kid). My first pet was a coker spaniels named Cookie and she was the most lovable dog, I remember teaching her bringing my snacks back from the store, I put my snack in her mouth and she kindly bit it back. Then when she passed, we adopt 2 foster dogs, Canela and Negrita, and we spent the best 12 years together. I used to walk them out 2 times a day, in the morning and when I got back from school or university. Also I played with them, separately, because Canela was really jealous. Sometimes, I used to take them near the beach to have long walks and to play with a tennis ball. Nowadays, back in my home country, we have adopted a foster cat named "Tom" as in Tom & Jerry cartoons and he's amazing, he climbs everything in the house, play with his toys and makes everybody laugh.
Additionally, I find myself as an animal lover, of any kind, I really enjoy their company and they mine. Therefore I believe your pet and I are going to have the best time together! :)
