Hi there!
I’m Rachel, country bumpkin at heart and have grown up around dogs, cats, horses and smaller furry creatures. I also used to teach horse riding and love dog walking, hiking and cuddles. I have owned cats, dogs and horses from childhood until I moved from the UK to Australia, including rescue dogs suffering from PTSD, severe separation anxiety, ghastrointestinal issues/sensitivity, and epilepsy. I currently have a Springer Spaniel.
I have also worked on several farms, horse riding schools, and have had work experience at 2 different vets during university.
I have trained puppies from the age of 6 weeks and have looked after toy dogs, giant dogs, and most of the breeds in between!
I have been a sitter since 2017 and have sat for a wide range of pets, from fish and rabbits to greyhounds, and have experience taking care of dogs with a range of physical and mental health conditions. 
I am mobile across the Northern Beaches and in some circumstances all of Sydney, and will always make the effort to meet you and your pet before any sitting takes place, in order for you and your pet(s) to get to know me, for you to ask any questions and so that you can tell me all about your pet / make sure I am fully prepared for sitting ahead of the booking. I work 9-5 from home – other than Thursday where I am in the office for 7 hours, and I house sit 7 days a week (as long as your pet is comfortable being left alone whilst I work), as well as come for house visits or dog walk outside of these times.
If I sit for you, you will receive very regular text, photo and video updates of how your pet(s) and I are getting along!
I have a Police certificate from the AFP and have gone through all criminal record, health and background checking ahead of successfully becoming an Australian Resident. I currently work in compliance for one of the big 4 banks. 
If you have any questions at all please don’t hesitate to reach out to me, unless I am out of the country I will respond to you within a few hours or a day at most.
Please note that I cannot always commit to short / weekend sits if they are short notice and/or a significant distance from my home.

I love animals (golden retriever and Burmese cat owner previousl) and treat them as my own. I raised my golden retriever from a puppy until she passed away at 16. I've been wanting to get another dog but because I work and travel occassionally, I'm not in a position to be a full time pet owner, but would love to get my fix of furry love by looking after your pet. I've got a 6 year old son who's great with animals too and is keen to help out! We live on a quiet leafy street with lots of great walks near us to the beach and nearby walks for pets so we'll be sure to bring your dog on lots of fun walks or give your cat lots of cuddles at home.  I work from home 2 days a week and on weekends we are around. Very responsible and respectful of owner's instructions. Our house is a two bedroom ground floor apartment with courtyard with high fences. My motivation to be a pet sitter is that I love animals and would love to help out whilst earning a bit of money.

My family has always owned dogs, cats and rabbits ( I grew up with cocker spaniels). I have a gorgeous cat now, we can't fit a dog in our apartment so petsitting fills the doggy void in my life. 
You get two services in one with me, I am a certified horticulturalist and would love to take care or your garden and indoor plants whilst you're gone.
I have been house and pet sitting for years now for friends and family. I work part time for myself so can be at home for long periods of time which is helpful for our anxious furry friends. I absolutely love walking a dog(s) and exploring a new neighbourhood, and have been trained in dog walking and teaching basic commands. I am physically fit and can handle the bigger breeds.
I'd be very keen to look after your pets and take them for as many walks as they need. Cuddles are a bonus :) I am flexible and have a car if the dogs want to go to the dog park or a bush walk.

I've been working in Mosman with MadDogs for about 10 months, and at the weekends Seagull Patrol at the Opera Bar. Work as house/pet sitter for many clients and I have many good references for you.
