Hi my name is Jo and I am a fit healthy 62 year old. I recently shifted to the Sunshine Coast, I don't work currently and am renting an apartment at the moment so I am not allowed a pet.
I have had the pleasure of having animals all my life and they were always another member of our family. I lost my 12 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback last year and he has left such a hole in my life.
Whenever I went away I would always get someone to come into my home to look after Leo in his own space. He had separation anxiety and being in his home really helped him cope with this. He never spent time in the kennels we just couldn't do that to him. Through doing that I met some beautiful people who cared for my fur baby as if he was their own and also respected my house and belongings. 
Availability
I am available anytime for in-house checkups of your furry friends. I’m also available anytime of the day for walks. I am retired soI am also avaliable to Housesit any day of the week!
About My Services
In addition to basic care, I offer a range of services tailored to meet your pet's unique needs. This includes:
Home Visits
During home visits, I typically stay with your pets for a minimum of 30 minutes to ensure they feel comfortable and secure. In addition to providing companionship, I am more than happy to water plants and bring in the mail.
Also, we need to make sure your furry (or not so furry) friends get all thier creature comforts, love, affection and exercise while you're away.
Dog Walking
For dog walking services, walks typically last 30 minutes to an hour, depending on your dog's needs and energy levels. We can explore your neighborhood or nearby parks to keep things exciting and engaging for your furry friend.
House Sitting
If you opt for house sitting, I can stay in the owner's home for an extended period, ranging from a few hours to overnight stays. I would take care of your home and ensure the respect and safety of your home, I take security measures seriously and would ensure that any specific security protocols you may have are followed.
You'll recieve regular text and photo updates so you can keep in touch with your pet while you're away.
Medication Administration
I have administered medications to pets before and dealt with human medicine for many years so am familiar with doses and administration.

Hi my name is Jasmine, I'm a 31 year old female, I'm new to the pet sitting world but I'm not new when it comes to meeting and caring for fur babies. In my work life I've worked as an animal management officer and prior to that a RSPCA animal rescue officer. So I can say I'm very confident when it comes to domestic animals.My family and I have moved to the sunshine coast over a year ago and I'm looking for that perfect job that fits into my new lifestyle and what a perfect opportunity this is!I'm available most days in the morning, midday or afternoons.&nbsp;I'm able to administer most medication if needed.&nbsp;If you'd like me to washing and groom your dog, I can. I'm no professional but have completed a grooming unit in cert 3 companion of animals.&nbsp;Home visits will be me spending time with your pets whether it's giving them cuddles, throwing the ball, or just being there for them. I'll always ensure they have are in good spirits, have food and water. Happy to do other house hold things like water plants, bring the mail in, take wheelie bins in /out etc. Depending on how far you live from me will depend on how long I would be spend time at your place genuinely 20-30mins.&nbsp;I have two large dogs and one cat of my own so unfortunately I won't be able to care for your pets at my house but I'm able to come and check in on your fur babies at your home. Only have my two cats in a unit up here so looking for other fur friends to take for adventures or to look after on my days off or before or after work.Love beach trips and forest walks, Ballinger dog beach is my local spot and always enjoy taking friends dogs down or pet sitting for friends.&nbsp;Happy and confident looking after all sized dogs, cats, horses, birds, pretty much anything that isn't venomous Being a long time vet nurse also comes with the bonus of being able to handle any of your children's medical, behavioral or more difficult needs if necessary. This also includes experience in physiotherapy and massage for recovering orthopedics/spinal and other surgeries or conditionsI can do morning and night home visits, pickup and drop offs with an hour or two at a time trips on days off.&nbsp;

Haha, in all seriousness I have an incredible connection when it comes interacting with dogs, cats and anything inbetween. I've grown up with many dogs in the past from rottweilers to golden retrievers and corgis to malamutes, no dog is excluded in my eyes and everyone deserves love and attention.
I find this opportunity to be both a learning experience as well as a sense of joy. I may not have previous experience with "Pawshake" however, I've had many experiences with animals regardless and everyone needs to start somewhere in becoming a sitter right?&nbsp;
