Hi Parents! I’m an animal lover who enjoys caring for pets and making sure they feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I have pets of my own two cats, a dog, and a few fishies so looking after animals is already part of my everyday life.

I offer home visits and dog walks, and I always try to follow each pet’s usual routine as closely as possible. Overnight stays may be available on request, please feel free to message me to discuss. I also offer pet sitting in my home for small to medium dogs who are comfortable around other dogs, cats, and children.

During visits, I make sure pets are fed, have fresh water, and their space is clean. I also spend time playing with them or giving them attention and cuddles if they enjoy that. I don’t just pop in and leave, I genuinely hang out with them so they feel comfortable and cared for.

I’m also confident in administering medications, applying creams, and following any specific care instructions your pet may need. I love keeping owners updated, so you can expect regular photos and little updates during each visit for peace of mind. When walking dogs, I always put the pet’s safety first. Home Visits - We are only able to visit your fur babies at your home and not available to host at our house. during our visit we will ensure they are fed, played with and exercised (we can take on a walk in your neighborhood ). We will provide photos and updates daily so you know they are being looked after while you are away and you don't need to worry. We can also water your plants and bring in your mail and take out your rubbish while we are visiting.&nbsp;
Dog Walking - We are confident handling dogs of all sizes safely on the lead and managing anxious dogs, we can take them to a local dog park or walk around your neighbourhood. Short/long walks, slow/medium or fast depending on your dog and what they like.
Before/After work hours and on weekends are best times for us.
I'll be the main point of contact for the team and my son will be helping me out until he gets older.

I am an experienced international house sitter and started in 2015 whereby over 50 house sits have been completed in the US, UK, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand, all with 5-Star Reviews (computer date-stamped screenshots can be sent).
I am big on cats and dogs, they both sense my affection for them and come over to me straight away. People are always a bit amazed because they say "my dog usually barks at strangers for days!" or the cat is straight on my lap and usually goes into hiding. I have a few tricks with animals that make them feel non-threatened and relaxed :)
Anyway, I'm big on exercise, running the 5km parkruns weekly on Saturdays at 7:00 am so am always happy to get more walking in. I go at the best pace your dog can manage and your dog will come back and want to sleep after all the excitement. I'm very gentle with dogs because I like to let them "read" the messages in the ground if they stop to do so, this is all part of tiring them out, in my opinion and providing them with a full experience.
I'm strong so any size dog is fine and I've walked up to 3 dogs before but could easily manage more.
I grew up with cats and dogs on a farm in Africa so am very familiar with animal behaviour and can sense when something strange might happen or if a situation is not looking good. If your dog or cat has any behavioural issues I'm pretty good at 'tactfully' making suggestions that remedy the issue.
I've found that a lot of cat owners don't realize that cats require their water bowls to be cleaned out and refilled every day with fresh water, not just topped up. So I have to squeeze this into the conversation too at some stage because I care about the welfare of animals as a priority even if the owners feel a bit offended - they still need to know :)
I'm available at short notice too because I work from home but am always looking for a useful distraction especially if it involves a bit of exercise.

I have just moved out of home to Brisbane to persue my sporting career aswell as studying physcology. Leaving behind my four family dogs, especially my own who was my bestfriend I would love nothing more than to spend quality time with your anima. I worked in my family produce and landscaping store where I interacted with a wide variety of dogs all day every day. I am extremely active and would love a furry friend to acompany me on my walks.
