I grew up with a Shih Tzu named Muffy, and being his primary carer taught me so much about patience, consistency, and the importance of building trust with pets. Hi! My name is Joelyne, originally from Sydney south, I am now enjoying living in the Kensington area. I grew up around animals and have loved them my entire life, could not imagine life without them.
I have been looking after dogs for the last 10 years (fox terrier cross and a chihuahua) but unfortunately they are now living in the Central Coast, which means I only get to see them once every few months. I always took the best care possible whilst having them with me, taking them out on several walks a day, making sure they had good food available (one of them has a sensitive stomach!) and taking them to the vet when needed.
When it comes to pet sitting/dog walking, I am very reliable and will always go the extra mile to ensure that animals are happy when I am looking after them. Having such a close relationship with my dog, Rocky, I've grown to love animals deeply. For the last 12 years, I've had experience in walking dogs- friends/family/my own dog. They have ranged from small dogs to medium sized. I enjoy long walks and am patient with dogs who love to sniff everything and anything! But, I am aware some dogs may have limitations in their breathing and might need shorter walks and specific leashes- personally my dog had breathing issues and walks were tailored to him such as a proper leash, breaks between walks, water stops and lots of patience. Furthermore, I am more than happy to send picture/message updates whenever you want! All my life I've enjoy looking after my cats and dogs however since moving to Sydney my current living situation doesn’t offer me the luxury to have pets of my own. As a result I volunteered at an animal shelter because I missed that feeling of spending quality time with them. 
Over the many years of looking after the pets of my neighbour and friends, I understand the immense responsibility bestowed upon ensuring the care and safety of your precious fur babies - I am also quite flexible with my time and can cater for your busy schedule. 
My walks are usually 45 minutes minimum to around an hour and can accommodate for any special requirements. I will never let the pet off leash unless requested.  You can be assured that your pet will be my No.1 priority and ONLY your pet will be with me during my service duration.
