Hi my name is Elise (35). I've had large dogs all my life and I have 8 years experience pet sitting (your home or mine) and walking dogs. I offer other related services such as pet taxi, pet concierge etc. I own a reliable car and am licensed, should your pet need to be taken to the Vet. I have completed the online RSPCA Accredited training course and I am police checked,  and insured through [link hidden] work part time in retail at Highpoint and Essendon DFO so I have flexibility in taking week and/or weekend bookings.
I am comfortable with dogs of any size and have a German shepherd female myself who is very well behaved and friendly.
My home has a secure 2.5m high fence with plenty of sunny and shady areas to play in, along with lots of toys to help stimulate your pets.
However I don't have an outdoor enclosure for cats so I can only look after them inside my house.&nbsp;
I am also happy to house sit at your own home, if preferred.&nbsp;
I have previously volunteered with North Melbourne's Lost Dogs Home which has been great for learning all sorts of great techniques dealing with dogs of all temperaments and various health issues.&nbsp;

I love animals and want to devote my time caring for them. I have a lot of experience with cats having grown up with them and caring for them as an adult. I have experience with family and friends dogs and would love to adopt a dog in the future.I have previously volunteered at a cat shelter in London and most recently at an elephant sanctuary in Thailand. I have registered to volunteer at Guide Dogs Victoria this year. I am also booked to volunteer at a wildlife sanctuary in Malawi in January 2024.I have completed an online course at The University of Edinburgh in Animal Behaviour and Welfare. I am also looking to complete Certficate ll in Animal Care later this year.My dream is to work at an animal sanctuary so I would like to gain as much experience as I can working with lots of different types of animals.I have 2 cats Lucy and Ginj. Lucy is very sensitive to other animals so unfortunately I am not able to host pets at my home, but I'm very happy to come to you to care for your pets.&nbsp;I am usually available anytime on Wednesdays and weekends.&nbsp;For home visits I will stay with your pets for approx 1-2hrs. I can water your plants and bring in the mail.&nbsp;For dog walking I will walk your dog for 1 -2hrs. I can take them to a park or nearby to your house.&nbsp;For house sitting I can stay in your home for the majority of the time I am sitting and will ensure your house is looked after and kept secure, like it was my own.&nbsp;I treat all animals with the love and respect they deserve. I am an animal lover and absolutely love dogs. I have looked after my own dogs for the last 40 years or so, from Border Collies to Pomeranians. Whilst I don't own a dog at present, is all more reason I want to take care of your dog. Spending time with dogs is the best. I get to exercise and be spoilt by their presence.
In fact, I would prefer dogs over humans any day. Only dog people would understand that statement. Dogs make the best companions and their loyalty is second to none. 
Ideally, I would love to walk dogs. I could also doggy sit them at their home when their owner is away at work, or they’ve gone out for whatever reason. Depending on the dog, I may even be able to doggy sit them at my place. Your dog would be loved and cared for as if they were my own. They will be in very safe hands.

I have grown up around animals my entire life including small- large breed dogs and many varying cat personalities!&nbsp;
I am experienced with walking large dogs and have trained my own girl to walk calmly and well on a leash with no pulling. I am also comfortable with large/ overly excitable dogs and am consistent with training so can maintain your routines.&nbsp;
I focus on enrichment to ensure my dog is happy, healthy and fulfilled and ensure a sniff filled walk which will give your pet an opportunity to explore the outside world (whilst on-leash).&nbsp;
