Hello! I'm Shannon, and I am addicted to caring for animals!

My relaxed work commitments mean I have substantial free time during the week and weekends to look after your precious companions. I enjoy being taken for walks, lying in the sun whilst brushing floofy coats, and discussing what flavour of treat is best.

I love meeting new friends and getting to know their different personalities and quirks.

Your companions will receive at least half an hour of personalised care time with me at each visit: a relaxing walk, playtime with toys, or quiet cuddle time, whatever they desire!

I have owned and cared for various types of pets over the last 4 decades: dogs, cats, birds, rats, and the occasional fish. My own two precious floofs are 14 years old and bring with them all the joy, bossiness, and apathy that senior cats (cats in general) do.

I have extensive experience caring for cats; however, I am also comfortable caring for dogs (large/giant, depending on breed) and some other small animals. Send me an inquiry to discuss your needs.

I am a foster carer for a rescue organisation. I foster cats from various backgrounds, some with complex emotional, behavioural, and medical conditions. I am experienced and confident in caring for felines that may require a more gentle approach, patience, or extra care, particularly those with anxiety, senior, or those that need daily medication.

A complimentary Meet & Greet is required for all NEW Bookings a minimum of 24 hours prior to your requested start date. This will make certain that I am the best match for your companion and reassure you that they will be comfortable with me.

If I am booked out on the dates you require and you live in Notting Hill or a bordering suburb, please reach out, as I may be able to pop in for a local day visit.

Inclusions:
Home Visits: 1 x Daily - 5km radius from Notting Hill. 
Any bookings outside this range may attract a travel fee
30 min of stay/play - feeding, playtime, pats and cuddles
Fresh water and food as directed
Change of cat litter
Provide an ample supply of food, litter, and medication
Walking can be added for an additional fee. Mention in booking request

Dog Walking: 5km radius from Notting Hill
Any bookings outside this range may attract a travel fee
30 min walk in the local area
Provide a secure collar/harness, leash & doggy bags
Walking is only conducted in the mornings for the health and well-being of both your companion and me

House Sitting: 10km radius from Notting Hill
Subject to location - provide suburb in booking request
2 weeks maximum stay for dogs (duration can be extended for cats)
Duration is up to 24 hours; ie arriving at 10am, leaving at 10am the following day
Home Visit Services plus Daily Exercise and any extras agreed upon at time of booking: plant watering, rubbish bins, checking mail etc
Basic Housekeeping
House sitting is perfect if you are going away for a longer break. Having your pets stay in their own home in surroundings they are familiar with reduces stress and anxiety while also providing security for your home. This is an ideal option for homes with multiple pets or pets who struggle with separation anxiety/stress.

** I do not accept bookings for dogs that cannot be left alone for more than 5 hours. While I do tend to stay at home, I do go about my normal life while housesitting and cannot rearrange work and other commitments.
