Hi, I'm Emma! I'm new to Pawshake, but have experience living with and caring for animals throughout my life, including dogs, cats, guineapigs, hamsters and fish. I have worked part-time as a pet sitter for multiple years, and possess prior experience working in a kennels and cattery back in the U.K. In 2023 I moved to Melbourne for work, but recently decided to set up a dog walking and pet sitting business that reflects my love of animals. I currently live with a two year old Cavoodle named Peaches who always puts a smile on my face. Whether your pet is shy or boisterous, I'll be able to keep them happy and safe.

I will meet you at your home or elsewhere for an initial meet & greet to get to know the needs of you and your pet. Please drop me a message to discuss this.

I offer four services, available seven days a week:

• Dog walking available at $30 per hour. A further $10 per hour fee will be applied for an additional dog. I will never walk more than two dogs at a time and only walk multiple dogs if from the same household. A typical walk will involve picking your pet up from your home, heading to the local park, dog park, or other dog-friendly area for a walk and play (and maybe some treats if mum or dad allow) before returning home for a long nap! If your dog has a lot of energy I can also take them on a run!

• Pet sitting available from $80 per night ($85 over the holidays). I will have a full consultation about your pets needs for free before your departure. I only provide pet sitting at your propety. Please provide a bed or pull out sofa. This price includes meals, playtime, administering medication, tidying up after your pet, walks (if required) and company for most of the day, exempting a few external pet walks or visits, food shopping or admin. I am happy to tailor this experience to your specific needs, but intend to be around for the majority of the day and will effectively be living with your pet as you would. We can discuss specifics at our meet and greet.

• Two x 45 minute pet visits per day to play with and care for your pet from $45. Further instructions welcome if you have other needs such as feeding pets, or cleaning out enclosures. Small animals also welcome.

• One x 60 minute pet visit per day to play with and care for your pet from $30. Further instructions welcome if you have other needs such as feeding pets or cleaning out enclosures. Small animals also welcome.

Please ensure you inform me of all your pets needs. Is your pet nervous around strangers? Sometimes starting with a few home playtime visits is helpful before taking your pet out without you present! Is your pet allowed treats? Do they have a favourite toy or game? All of this information will help me ensure that your pet has a wonderful day.

Please let me know if your pet has any aggressive habits towards humans or other animals. Likewise, If your pet is on any special medication, or has a disability please ensure you communicate this with me prior to booking. I am happy to update you with photos of your pet or be contacted at any time while your pet is in my care.
