Hi, I'm Emma! I'm new to Pawshake, but have experience living with and caring for animals throughout my life, including dogs, cats, guineapigs, hamsters and fish. I have worked part-time as a pet sitter for multiple years, and possess prior experience working in a kennels and cattery back in the U.K. In 2023 I moved to Melbourne for work, but recently decided to set up a dog walking and pet sitting business that reflects my love of animals. I currently live with a three year old Cavoodle named Peaches who always puts a smile on my face. Whether your pet is shy or boisterous, I'll be able to keep them happy and safe.

I will meet you at your home or elsewhere for an initial meet & greet to get to know the needs of you and your pet. Please drop me a message to discuss this. 

I offer two dog walking services and house visits available Monday-Friday. Pet sitting is available seven days a week:

I offer two dog walking options: a midday playgroup and individual/household walks.

Playgroup (small to medium sized dogs only): 75 min, $35 per dog  

• I offer a midday playgroup between approximately 11 am and 1 pm. Sessions run for 75 minutes and I allow up to 45 minutes for doggy transport depending on numbers. The session includes a walk and playtime, usually at Caulfield Racecourse and dog park. 
• Please be aware that your dog has to be socialised and non-reactive to attend playgroup. 
• Cost includes pickup and drop off, treats (if allowed) and poop bags for your pup. I’ll send you an update when I drop them home and some pictures. 

Household only dog walking: $35, 60 min walk/play. $10 per additional dog. 

• I offer individual and household only dog walking services. These walks include a 60 minute walk/play session tailored to your dog’s needs. For these sessions I am happy to take dogs with needs that do not suit playgroup including reactivity, anxiety, physical limitations etc. 
• Cost includes pickup and drop off, treats (if allowed) and poop bags for your pup. I’ll send you an update when I drop them off and some pictures.  
• A typical walk will involve picking your pet up from your home, heading to the local park, dog park, or other dog-friendly area for a walk and play (and maybe some treats if mum or dad allow) before returning home for a long nap! If your dog has a lot of energy I can also take them on a bit of a run! 

Pet sitting available from $80 per night ($85 over the holidays).  

• I will have a full consultation about your pets needs for free before your departure. I only provide pet sitting at your propety. Please provide a bed or pull out sofa. 
• Please be aware my dog walking schedule usually requires me to be outside the house approximately 4 hours a day. I will sometimes pop out for an hour to shop or go to appointments. Please let me know how long your pets can be at home alone. 
• This price includes meals, playtime, administering medication, tidying up after your pet, walks (if required) and company for most of the day. I am happy to tailor this experience to your specific needs, but intend to be around as much as possible and will effectively be living with your pet as you would. We can discuss specifics at our meet and greet.

House visits: $30 for 45 minutes  

• One x up to 45 minute pet visit per day to play with and care for your pet from $30. Further instructions welcome if you have other needs such as feeding pets or cleaning out enclosures. Small animals also welcome. 
• These visits are good especially for very reactive dogs that cannot be easily walked and still need some playtime and enrichment. 

Please ensure you inform me of all your pets needs. Is your pet nervous around strangers? Sometimes starting with a few home playtime visits is helpful before taking your pet out without you present! Is your pet allowed treats? Do they have a favourite toy or game? All of this information will help me ensure that your pet has a wonderful day.

Please let me know if your pet has any aggressive habits towards humans or other animals. Likewise, If your pet is on any special medication, or has a disability please ensure you communicate this with me prior to booking. I am happy to update you with photos of your pet or be contacted at any time while your pet is in my care.
